Still, I know purists balk at this stuff but I enjoy seeing all this carnage man its what make T20 such a spectacle. Martin Guptill is such a beast. But then so is the entire Australian team lmao, would have been favorites if the T20 WC was this year IMO. Man I can't wait for our tour to Australia to start already aargh! Love watching matches in Aus/NZ with the amazing crowds, the beautiful grounds and even the excitement of waking up early to catch matches in these time zones, it's something else. The BCCI are missing out not having a YouTube channel imo they'd probably break the record for fastest channel to reach 1 million subscribers if they do seeing how even other cricket YouTube channels' most viewed videos are involving India generally but instead you have to go to BCCI tv for highlights... Even robelinda, by far the most popular cricket YouTuber, even his channel has an Indian cricket related video as the most watched. It is to be expected given our large population and how cricket crazy we are (and if I may say so the Indian team just grabs a lot of eyeballs in general) but if all this doesn't tell the BCCI what a huge opportunity they're missing out on, then I don't know what will. Get the feeling even when their deal with Star expires they'll just go for a similar deal again with the highest bidder rather than make the cricket content accessible on YouTube and similar media. String Posted November 24, 2020 Share Posted November 24, 2020 (edited) Nothing has been confirmed yet but many news outlets are reporting that Rohit and Ishant Sharma are set to miss the test series against Australia (first reported here in the Mumbai Mirror though warning that site has many ads) EDIT: they've been ruled out of the first two tests and their chances of the next two are slim too. Cricinfo If true this is like the reverse of our last tour to Australia where it's us that's gonna miss some very key personnel this time. As if losing our best batsman wasn't enough now Ishant too who I believe has the best record among our pacers since Bumrahs debut (I'm too lazy to check but remember reading he had most wickets/best average during this period), and even Rohit was finding his feet in test cricket once he became an opener and would have been interesting to see if he could emerge as a test opener the way he did in the limited over formats. I wonder what our test team will be like once Kohli leaves, if I were to predict Agarwal Shaw Pujara Rahul (Gill has the better first class record but have a feeling KL will replace Kohli) Rahane (c) Vihari Pant (Saha is in better form but think they'll go with Pant given his success in Aus last time) Jadeja Siraj(yeah I predict he gets chosen over Saini and Umesh) Shami Bumrah Still a decent team but I think a lot will depend on our bowlers this time but with Aus having the likes of Warner , Smith and Labuschagne this time it's gonna be an uphill battle and if at all we lose Bumrah to injury during the ODI/test series then I think we are done for lol so wrap that chap in some cotton wool till the test starts. Though the difference in material seems kind of clear even from the pic lol. The MPL is an online gaming platform and clearly did not fit the eligibility criteria, because of which the company created a new domain "MPL Sports" in October first week, specifically to show "merchandise business" by way of which they were deemed "eligible". So some pretty shady stuff going on here lol Also I don't know why but I find the t20 and ODI series against Aus being called the Dettol T20 and Dettol ODI series very funny 🤣 nothing against Dettol though, love their soaps!
