Anyone getting bored of GTA? [After patch 1.16]

Yes....I used to play every night....since the update dropped I have played like twice...lol

No, I haven't been bored. Especially since I've been doing heists with a crew, which are totally fun. You should check the thread out if you want something to do on GTA:O.

Basically, we/they create heists, let people write in so we/they know who's coming, then play the heists. They range from going on a robbery spree to securing loot from a submarine wreck (an upcoming heist).

I know it sounds foolish, but I'm really excited to see how Rockstar has recreated the world. According to the trailer, it just looks so so dynamic and so alive. I do also buy a new console to be able to play future game titles.

For me, it became stale as soon as I realized Online was a glorified, watered down, Single Player.

I'll be going XBone too. However I wont be putting my balls on the line - will play it safe and wait for reviews etc and then make a decision. Also want to see how the 'transfer' works - if it's once or magic-jump-between.

 

As for this topic in general, many people will just keep playing - there is no excitement or boredom you just play it - GTA:IV wasn't exactly mind-blowing 3 years after release but I was still online doing death-matches. This one actually has new content feeding through. The new payout changes mean I'm currently enjoying Contact Missions a lot more than I used to.

Hmph. Not even a year has passed since release and it's already gotten pretty stale. It is still fun with the right friends but hell, am I the only one who knew the map would be boring

from the get-go? Should have had Sacramento replace sandy shores in retrospect.

i didn't play much in 1.15 but 1.16 made ppl farm all missions instead so im good, played contact missions for like an hour n a half ytd didn't need the cash so i airstriked everychance i get, and like just basically not giving a sh*t bout $$ at all ( like most us who glitched money in). So no em not getting bored

Before update 1.16 I would never use jets. Now, with the whole Jet trend that has happened with the update, I've started to use fighter Jets more often, and they are alot of fun. It's like I've discovered a whole new side of the game that was always there. This made the game feel fresh to me

I was about to play GTA Online tonight and thought "What will I do in GTA Online tonight? I could ride around in the Pigalle and try to impress people with my good taste. But they'll probably just shoot me in the face so I guess I'll drive the Sultan so I can at least attach a sticky-bomb to it and detonate it if someone starts shooting. The insurance will be a lot cheaper than the Pigalle's. Hm. But I always end up driving the Sultan for that reason. I guess I can just suicide-bomb people for a few hours. That'll be sorta funny. Maybe I'll play Uncharted 2. Yeah, I'll play Uncharted 2".

 

But, no - I'm not bored of GTA Online.
Suicide-bombing randoms for hours is still fun.

I needed to make some room on my hard drive, while i was doing that i realised I'd been downloading every 'Game with gold' and then not touching them again afterwards, so at the moment I'm working through those

i havnt got bored of it i just like to drive with my g27 more than a conteroler and you cant do that in gta neither is there a manual transmission. Its not that gta is bad i just want to drive on a track more right now than i want to drive on a poorly made race track with people that try to ram you every time they get close to you (yes im in a race crew its nothing wrong with the players in the crew its the random people).

Better wait for reviews and watch let's play videos and sh*t to see how GTA V 2.0 really is. I bet it's not completely like in the trailer and I bet they will show us more that won't be in the game later, or at least not on day 1. i usally play alot after new dlc but since there is barley anything new i stopped playing

Play it every day. I have a blast driving cars offroading getting in Hollywood style police chases ect. Try a 3 star only wanted level. Cops go hard enough to keep up but dont kill with deadly accuracy
