Anyone getting bored of GTA? [After patch 1.16]

I find myself getting bored of GTA Online.

I was hoping 1.16 would bring more content to the plate aside from the useful bug fixes, but it was pretty skimpy.

 

GTA Online starting to get stale, at least for me.

I already unlocked everything online and almost got all Platinum awards.

I'm also ranked high as well. (I wish there was more stuff to unlock after level 130).

 

Anyone else feeling the same way or still having a blast?

If you still getting a kick out of this game, what are you doing for fun to keep on playing?

no. i do not play it every day, and i have only been playing for a couple of months, so there's still a lot left for me to do.

I am the exact opposite.

 

1.15 was the most playable the game has been for me and now I am struggling to Join a Public Session or Job without dropping from other players inside a few minutes...might be time to Unbind some ports and as ridiculous as it is, go back to trying to play GTA Online with a Strict Nat (which worked for ages). At least then I will only be paired with players using an Open Nat...

 

Given the issues only appeared after 1.16 and I am already using the Google DNS Servers (and tried re-installing Updates), I guess my enjoyment will be down until Sever Maintenance or 1.17.

For me:

 

- use ISP DNS

- manual port forward to console

- disable uPnP

I'm getting back into it by playing tons of fun of missions that I would never do such as Gerald & Simeon missions that actually pay well (more than well considering what you do) but the cops that can somehow see and shoot you through the subway tunnels and losing 2 stars means you'll have to escape like a f*cking pro or call Lester is just too much. I'm starting to run towards the cops so they can kill me instead of running. It's the cops that ruin the game. There's many things that need to be fixed but honestly it's the cops that ruin it for me.

I want the dumb cops from GTA IV.

No, still loving it despite its issues. Enjoying jobs more due to payout balance, playing lots of stuff that wasn't worth the payout before. Since I can access stored vehicles I'm filling out the collection again. Playing jobs (races, etc) that I hadn't done yet. Flight school weekend was great because I enjoy flying, parachuting, and the flight school lessons.

It's been boring for months dude, anyway I keep myself occupied with other games (there are millions of other games out there people, not just GTA releasing every week or two)

or limit my playtime in this game to once a week or so, and only getting on when I'm with my crew.

Doing a whole bunch of missions I hadn't done in awhile got boring quicker than I expected. Even running through Dishonored and Skyrim is more fun than Online for me...

Yes, I'm bored.

It's my fault though. Right now, because I'm trying to reach a personal goal, I'm doing solo playlists of flying races that I can make last for 4 minutes apiece in order to gain faster RP.

 

This game would be absolutely fun and amazing if I would stop hunting down RP.

GTA Online was boring after 1.14,Why?,Becuase after that update,The only jobs that ill get in Quick Job when looking for DMs are crappy "10000000RP + 131534534$" and "Fight Club in Lag heaven" like maps.

not really doing other missions with other people is actually really fun and somehow playing with 4 people made a gerald mission epic.

I voted NO because it has BEEN boring way before 1.16 ..... maybe because a lot of us aren't mindless free roam killers and enjoy doing missions. The lack of new missions is holding this game back.

 

Even if they just unlocked the mission creator, we would be okay. Its simple R*.. to stop mission grinding and unfair payout, max it out at 10,000.... and set a required amount of miles( enemies, tasks) that need to be traveled(killed, accomplished) before the mission can be published. Problem(s) solved and players are given endless content

Actually started playing again after the 1.16 so no, I am having more fun now.

With the changes in payouts, I've been playing more missions and changing up what missions I play. Hell, even my friends who never do missions have been joining me lately. We've set a goal to earn enough to buy Stinger GTs and fully upgrade them so we can do a race tournament.

Patch got me back in for a few but i already find myself caming or just standing around my apartment more then actually playing. Prob drift off soon until something more happens.

no. griefing people in jets and just killing in general is timeless fun for me. if i get bored I just grab a jet and when the rage comes its good times 1.16 made everything better, more jets in the air for me to shoot down.

I'm bored with people posting threads about being bored with GTA. It started before the game had been out for a week. If ever there was a topic that deserved a sticky thread for amateur moderators to direct everyone to, this is it.

Though my nearest friends have seemed to lose interest in GTA, I'm enjoying the living sh*t outta it. Still flying Besras in my flight suit, attempting redneck RP for the 3rd time and level up my nearly made character.

 

- And I'm still so hyped about this game, that I'm saving up for both 'next' gen console and remade GTA.
