You already know what you're waiting for, especially in this case with it being a port. I think you mean you need a released date to know how long to wait, which again you already know. If you're fan you'll wait til it's out, if you're not that big a fan, you'll move on. Pretty simple.

Actually you are only partly correct. Rockstar Games is a wholly owned (subsidiary) of Take Two Interactive, stocks in which can be traded on the NASDAQ.

 

As for owing the players, well just Heists. Everything else less the PS4/Xbone/PC release is [speculation].

R* marketing didnt sell GTA V. The previous GTA titles are what sold GTA V. Its a game that everyone knows so they really dont have to market a lot.

 

For next gen i think they did officially schedule a q3/q4 release. That can be anywhere between now and the end of the year.

This is just par for the course for most game companies.

Even if they have information to give they hold it back.

I once worked for a company that knew they weren't going to make the ship date for 6 months. Only once the release date hit did they announce the official delay.

And no, marketing didn't make them sell copies of gta 5. It would be the previous gta's that sold gta 5. A game people waited on forever regardless of them putting info out or not and they barely put info out with multiple delays.

 

Their deadlines should be my business considering I am the consumer. I bought their game. I don't have the slave mentality like you. They release these tiny dlc's through out the year that doesn't take long to make at all. Heists aren't out yet and people aren't even excited for them anymore because rockstar delayed them for a year. Said it was coming out in spring, not really.

 

So I would assume during this year they have out time into next gen as well as sp dlc, heists, etc. we have no date on heists and it's been a year?! That's great marketing to you? Just little updates that keep us busy for a few days.

 

So yes, it is my business especially the fact that I'm gonna put out another 60 dollars for next gen. It was

My conspiracy theory is their going to release heists with the ps4/xbone version of the game. I'm expecting heists to never make onto gta online for xbox 360 and ps3

So the announcement of gta 5 for next gen was in June at e3. We still have no release date. Even with big rumors of when the date is, for whatever reason rockstar can't just clarify and tell us the date. Is this their thing now? Just keep the consumers in the dark and not knowing because there are a lot of people out their who went next gen after the announcement of next gen and sold their last gen copies and systems. I just don't get it I guess. Maybe thee is something I'm missing but it seems pretty clear to me

Nobody has to agree with me at all but normally when somebody disagrees, they don't get all crazy and mad about it. They just say their reason as to why they disagree and that's that.
