so recently ive been enjoying interiors in gta so i was wondering what game has the best interiors? and what is your favorite interior out of all. in my opinion i think gta 4 has the best because they are very memorable and they feel unique and realistic. i realise gta 4 dosent have alot of interiors but i think they have the best interiors like they say quality over quantity. but honestly i loved alot of the interiors in other games too but i pick 4. and my favorite would probably be tom goldbergs office because the shootouts there are very fun plus i liked the mission final interview aswell what do you guys like?

You forgot about GTA3. GTA3's interiors were nice as f*ck. Especially the very-accesable safehouses.

They didn't even bother making safehouse interiors for Vice City.

My vote goes for GTA V. For one, the interiors were accurate to the exterior (I'm looking at YOU mad doggs mansion) and they were detailed enough to tell you about who lived or worked there even if you had no idea who did. It's those little things.

The ones in GTA IV were pretty good honestly, some even surprised me with the amount of detail in each of them.

 

Don't remember many from GTA V

Vice City had a few good ones as well.

GTA IV and VC for me as well. The first game got pretty detailed interiors great for shootouts with all these pieces flying around (The Libertonian, Warehouse in Industrial, Mr. Fuk's Rice Box etc.) and a lot of smaller ones making the city more alive and detailed ([email protected], Fast food joints, The Triangle and Honkers). Not to mention of course the great ones added in both TLaD and TBoGT.

 

VC got the pretty climatic ones and probably the best ones in 3D era. How could you not like places like Malibu Club with YMCA dancing on the stage, Ocean View Hotel with Espantoso playing through the speakers or Ken's office being copied from Kleinfeld's office from Carlito's Way?

GTA IV for quality, GTA SA for the amount of interiors.

In SA you could enter basicly every single house with raid missions.

Ignoring the amount, GTA V clearly has the best interiors IMO. Considering I'm including Mission interiors too, for example the FIB building was great looking. I loved the part where it was burning, and you had to make your way out dressed as Firemen. The Bureau Raid was one of my favourite heists, just for the way it played out.

 

All the interiors are really detailed. The stores have great interiors, they look like actual stores, all the little details really make it. The Clothes Store, Hairdressers etc are all great too, and how they look in real life. I really hope they do open up the Mall in Next-Gen as there is so many possibilities for that, would be a great place for Online. Imagine a Deathmatch set in the mall, or new Contact Missions.

GTA San Andreas' interiors were pretty good. All of the safehouses made it interesting and added an incentive to buy them all.

 

Especially the experiment lab in SF with the large DNA statue with staircases. That was epic.

nice i agree with alot of those answers. and the reason i didint put gta 3 is because i dont remember any interiors except salvatores place and i didint think one place counted as the whole game. i dont rememeber any safehous interiors.

Vice City, since the few interiors it did have were so beautiful. I loved going to the mall, and usually I don't, Vice City's mall just felt so cozy. :inlove:

 

San Andreas comes close, but they re-used the same interiors for a lot of things, so that brought my opinion down. Mission exclusive interiors like that place where you shoot the Russians with Big Smoke, and the place where you have to steal the casino plans were really cool, but you couldn't explore them without glitching or teleporting. :(

Same goes for VCS' Mendez mansion, the inside is really small in VC while in VCS, it's huge.

For me, I'll say it like this.

 

VC had some good ones. Some even were affected based on the players progression but I wished the safe houses had interiors. I liked how you could go inside the North Point Mall and the airport.

SA had a great variety of interiors. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that a lot of them didn't match their exterior and many of them repeated. I don't like that you can't sprint in them. I didn't like how they didn't load inside the building that they were actually in, and you couldn't see outside the windows.

LCS only had the safe houses, and only a few enterable interiors that were only accessible during a mission.

VCS had some good interiors. However, like SA, a lot of them repeated. I liked being able to go into the North Point Mall and the airport.

IV and EFLC had some great interiors. They were very realistic, and you could seamlessly enter them for the first time. The clubs were nice too. I loved how they opened all the interiors from all three games in TBoGT's multiplayer. I don't like that you can't sprint in them. I liked how some were interactive a little bit.

V and Online had a lot of great interiors, but they locked up most of them and even worse, most don't load outside the mission, so you can't glitch into them. It loads low quality ones instead, but that may be different on PC, PS4, and Xbox One I liked having the convenient stores which was missing from IV. I didn't like the fact that there was no night club. Though some of V's interiors are only for circumstance, like the blown up part of the FIB building. The Online safe houses repeat, and I wish they opened all the interiors Online like they did in TBoGT. Luckily I'll fix this on the PC. I also liked how in V, the safe houses were alive. By that I mean that you can run into other residence that live there and they go about their daily lives. Like how in Michael house you can run into his family and servants and interact with them (except for Jimmy for some reason), Franklin can interact with Chop at both houses, and his Ant in his first house, and Trevor can interact with Ron and Floyd. It would of been nice if in IV you could run into Roman in the safe houses that you technically shared with him. There are also things to do in the safe houses as well like drinking, etc.

 

So in the end, V would win for me because I think it has the best interiors, and that there is stuff you can do in the safe house., however its tied with IV because most of V's interiors aren't accessible most of the time. But despite that, when I open them on V, its the winner because they are detailed, maybe even a little more than IV.

 

Edit: One flaw in V, according to accuracy, would be Michael's Foyer. The interior has a skylight, while the exterior doesn't.

My vote goes to SA because it had a lot even though a lot of them repeated, like some of the safehouses looked the same inside.

IV had some good ones as well, but they too repeated, and some of them to get inside required glitching or a trainer. Like Fausten's house or the lawyer's office and Brucie's garage.

 

In III there were interiors but it was awkward...I don't think you can see inside the safehouses in III. I know it does in VC Plus it also has a lot of good interiors. How can anyone forget about the shopping mall, Malibu club, and the mansion? Great interiors.

 

V doesn't even make the list. It's a major step backwards, but I guess that's the tradeoff for the giant map. Well, that's the price to pay with last gen.

I really enjoyed the interiors in IV... they felt alive and realistic. Some of the missions with interiors have managed to put me in the right atmosphere. For example, the junkie apartment during "Blow Your Cover", the warehouse where Roman is held captive during "Hostile Negotiations", Majestic Hotel during "Late Checkout", the apartment flat where Gracie is left with Gordon during "Ransom", the projects building where Teddy is holed up during "A Long Way to Fall"... all of them put me right into the action. Plus, I liked how gritty the illegal underground gun shops have been designed. Especially during my first encounter with the illegal gun shop in Broker during "Do You Have Protection?", I was like "Wow, dude! A backalley place and there is a gun shop behind that heavy, iron door.". Inside the store, I like the place being a bit wrecked, the walls covered with posters and dim light which doesn't almost enlight the room at all.

I liked interiors from GTA SA the most,there was just so many of them(CJ´s safehouses,NPC homes to break into,stores,fast food restaurants,bars,strip clubs,driving schools...).

GTA IV/EFLC..

 

Despite some repetition it easily has the best variety IMO. Internet cafes, laundromats, a museum, car/bike showrooms, pubs, strip cluibs, hospitals etc. Sure some of the random projects buildings aren't anything special, but it makes LC feel so explorable. I still discover interiors I never knew existed. This is before considering the interiors introduced in EFLC too.

 

Next would have to be VC.

Well, I like all of them, except GTA SA are my least favorite.

By looks and details -- Both IV and V win over 3D interiors, like common sense if you ask me.

But, 3D games esp. Vice City had some variety in interiors, beyond bars, restaurants, etc.

All in all, I don't care about which one has the best. These "choose the best" polls are best suited for matters, other than, the improvements that obviously evolve, and change by utilizing the capabilities available, for that time.

  1. IV/EFLC: Great variety and detail.

 

V: Doesn't have as many, but the detail is top notch.

 

VC: Great variety and it introduced interior variety to the series.

 

VCS: Good variety, some repetition though and annoying loading screens (can't cotnsider this an issue considering I played it on a handheld.

 

SA: Great variety, but the interiors don't fit the exteriors and sometimes the doors don't even match.

 

LCS: Some nice interiors, but they are few and far between.

 

III: Yeah....... no.
