Nah nah nah Gta 6
Might be glitch or modders are infecting people again, but whatever car I use (like the Z-type or Zentorno), they never go the fastest they can, this isn't a problem in SP, but has happened to me Online. If anyone has had this happen to them or knows why this happens please reply. Thanks.
MookStunna
Is it everytime you drive them or only sometimes? It's happened to me in the past, but upon a system reboot it's fixed.
Nah nah nah Gta 6
Only sometimes, still strange to see R* haven't patched it (probably due to it's small chance of occurring)
Jizzle2014
Max speed is higher in SP than it is in MP
jazzbone
I have experienced times when my cars feel faster but never unusually slow. Full lobbies with lots of action can slow down the game and everything is quicker in sp when compared to online. Try shifting between open lobby and invite only to see if there is any difference in how the top speed feels to you.
Nah nah nah Gta 6
Max speed is higher in SP than it is in MP I know but my cars were a lot slower than usual. Try shifting between open lobby and invite only to see if there is any difference in how the top speed feels to you. I was in a normal session on my own, (sometimes when I chose 'Go' it takes me a solo session), so I doubt there would be other players reeking laggy havoc. H8GodMode
Cars were nerfed so the max speed in online is around 160mph max. The game can't seem to handle them going Any faster. In SP you can easily achieve 200+mph.
Maxxi
I think its your brain being slow.
Above Omnipotence
Speeds were definitely nerfed some patches ago. I used to get a 1:43/44 with the Adder on The Commute. Now, my time fluctuates between 1:46-1:47.
The Khamelion
If you mean you feel as if the car only accelerated halfway and then continued at that speed, never actually reaching top speed at all, then I know what you mean. It feels as if the car is drastically damaged, almost, right? You're fully holding down the trigger on your controller but it just won't pick up - that's happened to me. It's a glitch. Don't remember how to fix it exactly. Change lobbies, if that doesn't work, exit to your console dashboard, if that doesn't work, restart your console. Butterfly57
I had this the other day. Landed in a public session after a mission and went to drive off. Thought my car was damaged and wouldn't get out 2nd gear. Left car, ran far enough away to call mechanic. Same again. Thought it may be the car again. Took out my Jester, same thing. Left the session. Back into an invite only and they drove normal. Never had that since, so not sure it was a glitch or a modded lobby (that was my first thought and hence I left that lobby). But if it is a glitch, very annoying.
RavingWithJesus
people claim that the max speed on all cars online is capped at 150 mph, although you can get a higher speed by slipstreaming and stuff...idk if that's true or not though. joshjda
Ps3 and xbox 360 have very limited ram you try to go over 140ish you start to lag and freeze so yes they are all capped at various max speeds fastest is adder at like 153 mph. Midnight Vibes
I believe this is a glitch, I've had this happen occasionally a long time ago. It feels like the car gets stuck in a certain gear doesn't accelerate past that? If that's the case then the only way to solve it is by restarting the game from the XMB/Dashboard, or finishing a mission I believe.
