"Racers" in this game are full of sh*t and Ive given up on any decent reliable competition here. I made seceral quality races, tried getting a race night going, next to no one showed up. Only one guy was good, we talked about making a race night that used both our created tracks, and then he flaked too. Its really sad because racing is a ton of fun on well made created tracks that have endless possibilities if you have a field full of honorable racers. Ive never once experienced a full field of 16 racers on PS3 and most were far from honorable. Race crews are jokes, you join them, see a lot of them online, then they never join races you host or host any themselves. Everyone wants to have pathetic carshows and stand around meets.

 

It would be cool if someone could get some real world sponsors to host races that would be recorded for Youtube. Something prestigious, no ass clown wanna be drivers, and good fair judging and rules enforcement. But alas, its just a dream.

theres at least 6 racers in this thread that i know for certain will wipe the floor with me on any track any day of the week, some of those are in my crew, some in apex, some in nodo... what makes each of these guys men, is the fact they will step up to a challenge and take the risk of losing, rather than claiming to be the dog bollocks, then act more like the cats arsehole...... you derailed this thread so much that the OP gave up on it... yet you call people out for taking it off topic...

to get back OT - to the OP, many racing crews have strict policies on what defines them as a crew, some speed, some conduct, some vehicle type etc... In most cases they will put potential recruits through initiation, not jsut blindly let anyone join (im thinking the likes of the Midnight Club crew who arent really a specialist racing crew..)... that said passing initation doesnt mean you wont turn into a douche later on.. .but most of those are dealt with swiftly and are kicked form the crew to protect the crews integrity...

 

If you really wana test the mettle of a racing crew id suggest you join either RRR Apex, NODO or RACE and get into a 10 job playlist with any of their racers... then make your judgements on what a "race crew" is all about... f*cking about in freeroam is one thing, getting 8 guys on a starting line and running an hours worth of races will separate the men from the boys

 

TLDR: Trolls are trolls... racers are racers.... if you think race crews arent worth the virtual paper they are written on, get yourself on the track and see how you fair..

Do not judge racing crews by those members you find in random races and or freeroam. The core members of any race crew worth its salt will be found only in private lobbies. If you wish to experience better racing click the pic in my sig.

 

Also remember that some of the larger racing crews had open enrollment to get their numbers up fast and really don't know everyone they have under their tag.

OT: OP, there are some good racers out there. Just takes a bit to find. You'll encounter a lot of racers that are in this thread for example that bitches and makes excuses but you'll find good racers. Trust me...... They're out there.

Controlling a digitized car with a game pad, joy stick, controller does not mean one can drive.

 

Get a proper SIM, iRacing, Assetto Corsa or such and get yourself a wheel and pedals mounted to a rig. Then you can begin to talk about driving skill. However that still doesn't mean you could wheel a real car in a real track. However it is a much much much better indicator of ones driving skill.

haha join Nonchalant Dominance and get beat by a couple girls. seriously they are fkn good. and there was another crew i raced with the other day gta racers maybe? and there was a girl in that crew that was known to be dominant on the track as well. even when im having a good day im behind a few players that ive regularly played with. its not about racing amazingly its about consistency in races, over pushing yourself means you crash and these bitches dont crash, they dont even screech on the tyres when they turn. these bitches got their ballas to the wall lol weed.

of course you cant expect a large amount of a crew to be 'top notch racers' anyone can join a lot of them and only maybe 10% will be super consistent and have positive win/losses. as you only get a win for coming first out of up to 16 its hard to get positive unless you are actually good or race alone if they count or with small groups or sh*tty groups... 'select' groups.
i think most ppl join a big race crew so they have people to race clean with, not because they are amazing.

owens racing some of the bitches ive raced have super braking point skills and they hit that apex like the ron jeremy hits the gspot that sh*t can translate well to IRL driving, of course there's more control and more physical movement, 'motor skills' (moving your hands and not looking at them and sh*t) IRL but IRL there is loads more FPS which helps a fkn ton. maybe my xbox is just old. its one of the big ones.

AAND. IRL you have to have real balls and take it a lot slower because its 'unaffordable' to 'over do it'. And expensive to race 1000s of races like ppl have since gta came out.... so you need more naturally skill and progression of skill to really be an IRL racer. Unless you keep it up as hobby over like 10 years. the good racers start when they are a teen so they have a decade on the newbie adults

Yea OP, a lot of people say they're this and that and are really not. All bark but no bite, I'm a pro racer myself and guys like that give us a bad name. I haven't encountered anyone who can keep up with me in racing yet.

I hope it doesn't seem like I'm bragging how good I am but the truths the truth.
