How are you judge a racer's skill by seeing how he can perform in random glitchy traffic and other people trying to run him off the road. That's like testing a fish's ability to climb a tree.

 

Race with him on a track that's actually legit (No stupid ramps or power boosts) with catch-up, sliptream, and traffic off and he'll beat you 96% of the time, which the off chance that you're an asshole who rams and sh*t, but a good racer can anticipate it and beat you anyways soo...

I'd have to agree that this thread is a thinly veiled attempt at boasting your driving prowess. So not only are you such a good driver that even racing crews can't beat you but you're also too fast to get caught and bested in free roam.

 

Ok hotshot.

 

I would agree that a 'Manuel' gearbox would probably give lots of people problems because having a guy named Manuel in the bottom of your car trying to convert power from the engine to the drivetrain would be a very cumbersome for a person to do by hand. YUK YUK YUK.

Every one who's chased me in a public free roam who was in a racing crew, was well, sh*t. Why is it that there are so many racing crews and not one of the ones/members I've seen are able to drive or drive something other than a supercar? As someone who could readily prove their worthy of the title Wheelman and/or race/rally driver, this is upsetting really. Then again I also play Forza 4 often, and was also hope for a Manuel gearbox like the one in Forza 4 (that would get rid of most of these sh*t drivers) Anyone else have ideas for the game on how to get rid of these F**kers who can't drive, also please share your encounters with people that can't drive.

My guess is that the OP is butt-hurt because someone owned him in free roam. Most likely someone was chasing the OP in free roam in a car and caught him and shot and killed him, even though the OP thought he was driving awesome and was going to be able to "out drive" the other player.

 

Something along those lines happened.

The OP has lied throughout this whole thread, can't understand why he's being humoured.

 

No race crew would ever chase a random in free roam to 'race' them and no race crew would ever follow you to free roam after losing a race....I've raced with a few decent race crews and i've never ever seen that happen.

I'd definitely consider myself a pretty good driver (outrunning Zentorno's in a Ruiner), but I'd say Nay to manual in this game.

I also play Forza a lot and use manual, and so I usually press B by accident when I hear the gear about to shift in GTA.

GTA isn't a driver simulator though.

no one can keep up with me in freeroam racing or regular racing. I have a couple of losses mostly from me and my old crew having fun ramming massively in races back in October/November.

 

I only have a few legitimate losses, no one can keep up with me when I'm focused and having fun or any other time. People usually cheat to beat me.

 

I decline your challenge though.
