Welcome to the Peace and Love DLC concept thread

 

The 60’s, an era full of hippies, rock n’ roll and muscle cars, the Peace and Love DLC adds everything that was good (and bad) about the 60’s.

VEHICLES

 

BF Hopper:

The BF Hopper is an unmodified BF Injection based off a split window VW. Compacts

Vapid Dominator Classic:

The Vapid Dominator classic is based off a 1965 Ford Mustang, available in topless and coupe. Muscle

 

BF Surfer Psychedelic

A regular BF Surfer with psychedelic options, like the paradise. Vans

 

Canis PVE:

The Canis PVE Is based off the Citroen 2CV. Based off a Citroen 2CV

 

Aztec Boss:

The Aztec Boss is a motorcycle based on an Indian Chief. Motorcycles

 

Dome Cheyenne:

The Dome Cheyenne is based off the UH-1 Huey and is available in both slick and gunship forms. Helicopter

 

 

WEAPONS

 

Battle AR:

The Battle AR is based upon the M16 Rifle and fires in 3 round bursts. Assault Rifle

Thumper:

The Thumper is a single shot grenade launcher based upon the M79. Launchers

 

CLOTHING

 

Combat Uniform:

A combat uniform based upon the US Army Vietnam War fatigues

Tie Die Shirts:

The classic hippie tie dye shirt

Flared Jeans:

Jeans that are skinny at the waist and flare out at the bottom

Vintage Leather Jacket:

An iconic leather jacket from the 60's

Flowing hippie skirts:

Colourful skirts worn by female hippies

Leather Boots:

Classic 60's leather boots

 

HAIRCUTS

 

The B52:

One of the most iconic hairstyles from the 60's

Long Hippie Hair

Classic long straight hippie hair

Afro

Huge bushy afro stereotypical to the 60's

Bowl Cut:

The haircut made famous by a certain iconic 60's band

Long Female Hair:

What everybody has been asking for in GTA Online, long hair for female characters

Full Size Beard:

Something GTA Online has been missing, a full sized bushy beard

Eyewear famous for being worn by a certain famous member of a certain famous band

What would a DLC based around 60's hippies be without these

I am being serious. I mean Southern California or in GTA's case Southern San Andreas fits in perfectly with the 60's vibe.

A 60's DLC without any content related to drugs and rock n' roll just feels wrong. Perhaps a radio station that hosts 60's songs and some narcotics that'll put the player into a state similar to the one in the Grass Roots missions from single player would fit well into the idea. Also, a bowl cut should be considered as a hairstyle as well as accessories with a "peace" sign somewhere on them.

 

Currently from what you've got though, I think the clothing would be pretty cool. Oh, you should add a poncho too! That would make it a good idea, in my opinion.

I liked it. Heck, I'd use that Cheyenne, the Battle AR and probably the Hopper frequently! And if the Classic Dom is better than the regular one, I'd definitely replace mine, love classic Mustangs.

 

By the way, what if the AR is a three burst rifle? Because that would certainly make it stand out from the other 5 identical rifles we've got

Frankly, I think Beetles are overrated as hell. They are slowpokes made by Hitler's orders, and as adorable as they might look, they are simply... Well, crappy. And with that said, I'd definitely like to see one in the game, it just feels like a logical step if the BF Injection is pretty much a Baja Bug / Beetle with giant wheels. It would be the simplest thing for Rockstar to do, they just need to put the BJ Injection chassis in a low-end sedan. If there were enough upgrades to actually turn it into a well-performing car I'd certainly get one.

Don't really care about the cars (helicopter would be eerily similar to the Maverick), but the other stuff seems nice. For the weapons, how would they be different than the ones (Carbine/Advance Rifle, Grenade Launcher) we already have? As for the "Thumper"... Haven't I heard that name on a M79 somewhere before?

 

Would love to see the hair styles... huge afro on anyone makes me laugh a bit.

Since Rockstar already had the 'shroom effect in SP, it should be no problem to include it in the P&L DLC. I would like to have that effect to play with, without having to be constantly shooting a bunch of imaginary aliens. Another lost opportunity that should be restored.

 

I'm all for the P&L DLC. It's better than 90% of the other DLC ideas that have been floated here.

Can we just have a DLC that makes sense first. Can this game just establish itself as GTA before it verges off into the wacky stuff, we need a gangsta' DLC and a clothing update; back to basics. But I appreciate your effort and the cars would be nice.

I hope that long hairstyle is for female characters too, About time and its cool. Also needs a flower hippie jacket and dress.

Maybe unisex rainboots and hippie peace signs.

Everything looks great aside from the weapons, id rather see more "Civilian" weapons as opposed to military. Revolver, maybe a semi auto Mini 14 like from Vice City, birdshead Stakeout type shotgun etc.

 

Everything else is great, love the car choices!

This is really confusing. A peace and love dlc shouldn't have a mustang, a huey helicopter and f*cking guns. It's really clashing.
