How many living properties should we be allowed to won

  1. 1. How many living properties should we be allowed to have?

The entitlement displayed is laughable. "Don't restrict me!", "let me do whatever the hell I want!", "I should have everything for nothing!" Blah, blah, blah...FFS. Kids these days.

Anyways, I feel like 2 is plenty in one "place". When and if there are ever former GTA "places" (Vice, Liberty) then we should get more.

I voted four because that's currently the number we're able to have - across two characters mind you. I personally feel we should be able to have four on our primary character if we choose not to have a second. Not only that, four is a perfect amount for us to sprawl across the map nicely.

The highlife update is still the most expensive update for me by a long shot because it opened up more property options, and the ability to build on my car collection. I imagine a future update with more property options would be another costly one.

More properties would just gives more reason to play the game and make money - nothing about being entitled.

each of one would be my wish - means 1 high end (10 cars) 1 mid lvl (6 cars) 1 low end (2cars) apartments + same as garages (10+6+2) + 1 house ((2-6) (or mansion if they'll ever release them)) = would be 42 vehicle spots in total at this point of the game on each char.

2 properties to live in is plenty. 1 in the city, 1 in the sticks. but several or larger garages would be nice. And please, please please...MANSIONS

Well your poll speaks of living properties. My personal opinion is that 2 is already more than I need. I own one apartment and an additional garage. If your poll asked how many garages I would differ my vote because again I don't need or want more garage properties...what I want is unlimited vehicle storage. You should be able to acess a list of cars and decide which ten to show in the garage.

That being said I have no coplaints with increasing property availability...I just personally would not need it except for garage space.

In the longrun? Four, I suppose. When more car packs are added, bumping it up to 3 properties would be good. If a map expansion happens, then a 4th property slot should become available, for sure.

Be sure to update this post with the link to your petition on the Support site; posts on there never get "bumped" when someone comments, so it'll probably get buried quickly and not many people will see it.

As many as your funds allow

Nah that's crap. Think of all the glitcher twats who would be able to own every property in the game without doing anything whatsoever to earn them.

And how does that affect your gameplaying experience?

Entitlement can't be applied to video games

It doesn't. Not directly anyway. But there is a principle to it. I'm not going to bother explaining it though, because I'm sure you would simply be a c*nt about it.

Create a 40 car hangar property and keep it to having two properties only..

I mean who the hell could seriously fill 80 spaces?

Adder bonds?

If we're going to talk about not needing things...

None of us NEED to play this game. What we NEED to do is eat, drink, sleep and if you consider it important that the species doesn't go extinct, reproduce.

A videogame is not about needing to do anything, it's for fun. Someone else posted earlier on this page that they wouldn't ask for more residences but just more (unlimited) vehicle storage, same here.

It'd be funny to be able to walk into a building on any location of the map and take a shower or whatever, but for me storage is the most important thing as well. I don't care how many properties I own, as long as I can store as much vehicles as I want, it just so happens that the one of the simplest ways would be to let people have all the properties they want.

Letting people store more/unlimited vehicles doesn't give them any real advantage. Especially since anyone'd be able to do it.

Being able to own more than two properties doesn't affect people that don't care for that because nobody is putting a gun to their head and forcing them to buy more properties.

Saying a random number like three, five or whatever is enough just because reasons, that is not an argument. Perhaps it's enough for YOU, but other people would be quite pleased with more, and would enjoy the game even more then. Saying it shouldn't happen just because you don't care for it, even though the change won't affect you, is really just pathetic. Trying to deny other people a simple and harmless form of pleasure, what's wrong with you?

Also, whatever I said in my post on the first page, and what Rerxelend said about "entitlement" above.

If you're against this, give us a proper argument on why it would be bad for gameplay.

when it comes to properties, i believe we should be able to own as many properties as our wallet allow us!

at the end I plan on taking a screen shot and adding it to a petition on the R* website.

By all means, go for it, but seriously, it seems like you've got far too much time on your hands.

But on topic, your poll is slightly skewed, because there are some of us, though limited perhaps, who think one garage is more than adequate.

Just my thoughts. Good luck with the petition. :)

WesternMotorcycleCo.

3 is enough. One in Paleto, one at the Airport, and I'd like another around Senora or Blaine County. Realistically the only reason people want unlimited properties is so they can spend all their hard earned glitched money on super cars. (inb4 "legit" player who doesn't drive supers)

I've got a list of cars I'd like to modify and how I want them done that's more than 30 cars.

I voted for three.

That's like 90 cars on both characters.

I don't even think there are 90 60 store-able cars online that aren't duplicates of each other.

Do you mean the total amount of 'unique' storable vehicles? Because I am quite sure there are. Let me just finish this mission and I'll do a quick count, I think the wikia has an updated list.

Storable only, so no air or sea vehicles or anything else that comes from Pegasus and isn't a Dubsta 6x6, etc.

EDIT: So right now there's at LEAST 148 vehicles that can be stored in your garage. That's counting two versions of the Oracle and two versions of the Baller. There may be some vehicles in other categories that are also storable, but I never checked out vehicles like the Caddy and Lawn Mower.

So, at least 148. That's quite a lot. And that's not counting the numerous vehicles yet to come in the future, who knows how long Rockstar is going to keep adding content...

EDIT 2: Correction, there should be a little less than that, some of the vans cannot be stored (yet) I believe!

I think unlimited. If we have the cash then why not.

If there are technical limitations fair enough if unlimited wasn't possible, and if so then maybe 5 to 10 would be fine.

I doubt anyone would actually buy every one there is though. I wouldn't see much point in owning every one, nor would I be wanting the hassle. But I would definately appreciate a few more properties!

Well get some sleep. Then wake up, don't have breakfast, and play GTA V some more.

I would be happy with 3 - my APT in the city, my house in PB and another house in either Grapeseed or SS. I am actually fighting the though of buying a 10 car garage, grabbing 4 more cars and moving into Grapeseed or SS right now due to the airstrips. I just know that when I do, R* will release a property that I would be interested in those areas and I would waste $ unnecessarily.

I voted for 5+ but not unlimited. I really like the idea some others said of only being able to buy a property from each class. So you can have 1 high end apt. 1 mansion when they add then, 1 6CAR house, myabe a garage or 2 with no living space.

And they need to add a vehicle storage for flying toys and A dock for our aquatic vehicles.

I do think it would be stupid if someone owned like 10 mansions or 10 high end apts. There should be some sort of structure. And hopefully we can get commercial properties eventually.

I say the limit should be 2 apartments + 2 standalone garages OR 4 standalone garages.

I think this shouldn't just be limited to just apartments, houses & garages but aldo hangers, docks, mansions, Trailers, and possibly Condos. I feel its only a matter of time before R* opens new properties in upper West Vinewood(mansions) & Mirror park(houses). San Andreas allowed you to own a load of properties even a hanger, airport, and dock as well so i don't see why it would be a problem. R* could use this to their advantage by raising prop tax by how many properties you own. And mansion would definitely be +$1mil so this could boost their cash card sales which im sure everyone is sick of hearing about.
