This is how my money saving works in GTA: Online.

 

DLC comes out.

Earn enough money to buy new car.

Spend all the money on new car only to not like it.

Sell it.

End up having a fraction of what I spent.

Struggle to control my "changing cars colours addiction (CCC)".

Eventually make back 200k.

New DLC comes out.

Rinse and Repeat.

 

So at any time I will never have more than 800K. The most I ever saved up (legit) was only 1.1 million and I blew all of that on High Life sh*t.

Play the game and earn money as you go but never pay much attention to it.

Title Update released.

Run around buying up all the new stuff that I actually want.

Ignore the stuff that I don't.

Check bank and realize I am a little on the light side.

I've made $24 million legit... it's not that hard. Playing from no money. living in the ghetto 2 car garage apt with my first PVs - Nemesis and Futo, then upgrading after the R* stimulus... moved to Del Perro Apts, bought a new 9F cabrio... slowly made more $ but it was fun. I'm sure playing with a load of $ is fun too but only reason why I didn't hack was because having too much $ too fast ruined SP for me. Making billions off WHIZ stocks after the first heist killed SP since I was able to buy everything I wanted.

 

Anyway, playing poor is fun b/c it made gang attacks, selling cars and HPV fun. Racing, missions, survivals are fun. To each their own... but getting to 120 (149 now) legit and paying for all my stuff glitch free makes me feel good.

How can anyone be broke? I havent been short on money since I started playing the first day GTAO started. Even as a low level I was able to do missions and generate a lot of cash. That being said, I think it would be interesting to try a new character and not focus on cash.
