JoeBoneless Posted August 28, 2014 Share Posted August 28, 2014 First off, I won't even be entertaining any "you just suck at getting away" comments f*ck these cops, they can't see you at all, but always know where you are and you can't shake them. I've tried using a jet to reach the stratosphere, I've tried hiding in the sewer.... So, if we could compile a list of every mission where 'lose the cops' could possibly be a part of it, so we could avoid those missions, that would be great, because these cops are f*cking terminators. I managed to get the stars flashed, but those cops can really gather beside the fences and found me hiding there. For f*ck's sake, why are they so desperate in making us killed? At least I don't think, the first time I tried doing "Crime Scenester", I figured I'd just call Lester for cops turn a blind eye and then walk through the police, grab the package and walk out. I pulled every trick I've got out of the bag and even though I spent several minutes with no cops even remotely nearby, I never once broke line of sight. Ended up letting the cops kill me to fail the mission. Lester won't answer the phone if you're doing one of his jobs. If that location fails i think that the game is glitching . To date that location has not failed me to lose wanted stars but i have experienced wanted stars that seem to blink forever in the tunnels and other locations. Yeah, my buddy went into the underground tunnels and they STILL somehow 'knew' where he was. Figured it was glitching, ended up blowing himself up to get out of it. Haven't tried that mission since. Spacedog08 Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 If you access a rooftop or any other spot without a ladder or stairs, then the cops will not follow you. Just find a spot that would normally be inaccessible. I maxed my strength beating up people at the beach sidewalk. When the cops arrived, I'd jump on a big vehicle & jump up onto a roof. Sometimes cops would be shooting me as I climbed up right in front of them but they never followed. Train tunnels work great for helicopters. MercurySummer Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 I've been trying to get some of the awards like When pigs can fly and Armed Robber, I called Lester with 3 stars they dissappeared for literally a second before turning into one star so I paid the £600 for the 3 stars only to end up with 1 star (I wasn't armed and I hadn't moved from on top of the mountain) thought it was a one off not sure if its just glitchy? I drove around for 10 minutes hiding in alleyways and avoiding cops and the cops never lost sight of me. At times I would sit and wait for a minute or more before any actual policemen came anywhere near me, and they still knew exactly where to look. If this hasn't happened to you lately, then you clearly don't play many missions. Like others have reported I have been completely out of sight from the police for several minutes, they couldn't see me but my wanted level still wouldn't disappear. Then, they suddenly "Spotted me" even though there wasn't a single cop anywhere in the area, and I was forced to flee. I've also been completely unable to lose my wanted level while underground. I've obtained over 15,000 wanted stars in my time, and evaded 70% of them...So no, I do NOT suck at getting away.
