That's what people get for getting a console the first day it comes out....

As stated previously, because reading is fundamental, the 12GB slim came out in late 2012

XBL is down not long ago. The same applies to PSN.

 

No, it was DDoS'd for a couple of hours, nothing compared to the PSN being down for weeks.

 

Argh, that stupid little event is what xbots uses to flame PS. Does that give you the reason to whine about PSN? Face it, both XBL (for its stupidly closed wall-garden system) and PSN (for its vulnerable system) sucked. Steam FTW.

 

It wasn't a "little event" lol. It was the single biggest data theft in history. PS3 also gets hammered by modders a lot more because the cheaters don't have to pay for the pleasure.

 

The point at hand has nothing to do with Steam, although I do prefer it as a platform.

 

I've only encountered 1 modder on PS3. You should come here to Indonesia, where X360 is chosen simply because it's easier to pirate.

How many people bought pirated x360 anyway ? Most of people i know buys jailbroken PS3 lol

GTA V game data required HDD space(UPDATE)

Game Data consumed hard disc space::7GB

Update Patch from 1.01 until 1.16:2GB

7GB+2GB=9GB

I think the heist update is near because as you can see the 12gb PS3 has limited HDD space to install the next update maybe new add on map or features which has bigger size is coming.

Then why the thread in the first place? Those kids shouldnt be playing a rated game and if your not online then this is a non issue anyways :S

 

Facts are only an ignorant fool would buy such a limited console. Anyone that knows anything about gaming should know about things like installing discs to the HDD and patches and all the crap like that, that comes with gaming.

I got a xbox the day it came out a long time ago... march 2006 i think it was...

 

Anyways mine came with a 20gb hdd which I upgraded to a 250 asap then I sold it to a mate after i tired of console gaming and I brought a new 360gb black one just to play GTA5. The problem is PS doesnt have a replaceable HDD its built in which

OT I'm fine I got the Digital Version of GTA 5 and have all the updates downloaded I have a total of 320GB on my PS3 so I'm just fine lol good luck 12GB ps3 owners

Considering I haven't downloaded 1.16 yet... it could mean the update will only be 200-300MBs at most. I also forgot to mention that was a rough estimate and not an accurate figure.

Xbox was 4Gb or no HDD, so the owners already got over that when the game was released. But this will be 'new' to 12Gb PS3 owners who have been playing fine with no upgrades. For the X360 when it was released a common solution was a USB stick.

You can't use the cloud for game updates for obvious reasons. It's just there for "Save Game" files etc so you can continue your game across multiple consoles without transferring the saves.
