250gb ps3 masterrace.

lmao peasants

PSSHH 1 terabyte xbox 360 masterrace.

f*ck me, I guess that's one thing xbox has over ps3, the emphasis on disk space.

Not to mention an online service that's never been down for weeks at a time, ability to use party chat, and generally not being a sub-par service.

You can throw in a laptop disk y'know ;)

I think FAT32 supports up to 2TB.

Xbox master race

You can change the HDD in PS3 using standard laptop drive... And X360 got a whopping 4GB version out there, making your statement invalid.

Shutup. You or the other cadork don't realize it's xbox master race no matter what...

No. We're both "peasants", PC Master Race.

The question is,Why do you have a 12GB PS3?

Because they're poor.

In which case they can't afford GTA cash cards, so they're dead to us.

XBL is down not long ago. The same applies to PSN.

I've seen more complaints/issues with PSN than XBL by a long shot.

I have both console types and a PC however. I'm not sure why people get so worked up over the issue.

There's ups and downs either way you go (except the Nintendo Wii, that's just s**t).

The Algerian

So basically, for PS3 12GB owners, (I am NOT one of them, Xbox 360/One Master Race), whoever bought one must be feeling pretty stupid for being cheap.

Not be a dick, but I'm pretty sure the Xbox 360 used to come with only 4 GB, making you "master race" statement irrelevant.

Xbox360 Arcade used to come with absolutely nothing, even.

I should know, I still have one. No HDD at all.

No, it was DDoS'd for a couple of hours, nothing compared to the PSN being down for weeks.

This is correct, I got a corded X360 controller for my PC however I found the games usually aren't optimized for them so it's not always the best experience.

I reserve the PC for fast paced FPS and top down strategy games - where the default controllers are absolutely perfect.

12 gb at first launch would last quite some time.

Disagree with that completely. Almost every game I played at launch had to be installed to the HDD, it will fill up pretty fast. Most games play off the disc these days though.

Although that being said, was 12GB ever released at launch? I thought 20GB was the lowest at launch. I think my old fat PS3 was 60GB.

There's no reason to buy a 12GB PS3 unless you know you have another HDD lying around, they aren't much cheaper than the 250GB Super Slim models or the 120GB and 160GB Slim models (the Slim models might even be cheaper). If money was really an issue with buying a console, you're going to buy pre-owned anyway.

As for the 360 master race people, my 360 didn't even come with an HDD when I bought one.

Yeah, but they were hacked as punishment for something that Sony did (unrelated to PS3) by determined hackers...real hackers can hack anything they want to get into eventually Edited by CrazyRay

Argh, that stupid little event is what xbots uses to flame PS. Does that give you the reason to whine about PSN? Face it, both XBL (for its stupidly closed wall-garden system) and PSN (for its vulnerable system) sucked. Steam FTW.

It wasn't a "little event" lol. It was the single biggest data theft in history. PS3 also gets hammered by modders a lot more because the cheaters don't have to pay for the pleasure.

The point at hand has nothing to do with Steam, although I do prefer it as a platform.

Not to mention the 40% failure rate for the original models of the 360 (mostly due to RRoD), and Microsoft officially being responsible for the worst (built/durable) electronic device of all-time

Neither do modders on 360, they can just generate 7 day trials.

PowerKracker

Fanboys of all sides are obnoxious. This includes every debate - console wars, which GTA is better, apples or oranges, everything. But I guess people won't understand or respect anything, otherwise history wouldn't be full of pointless wars.

I've only encountered 1 modder on PS3. You should come here to Indonesia, where X360 is chosen simply because it's easier to pirate.

This.

I was always going to get a PS3 over the 360 (bearing in mind I only got my first console for GTA V & got 500 GB storage as I am forward thinking) as I prefer Playstation and did not want to pay an extra $50 for Online Services just for GTA V... Even now the 2 year (electronic mean) failure rate of the 360 over the PS3 is still around 2x Higher than that for the PS3 so this made my decision even easier.

Practically everyone I know ended up getting a replacement 360 when the console was first released as they red ringed in no time. PS3 has issues to, but nowhere near as bad,

On a side note, can't believe 12 GB was actually a standard back then.

My Xbox only came with 4GB. I had to buy a 250GB HDD at a later point.

All of those Slim and Lite concept is wrong. When I bought my 120gb PS3 slim, I didn't know that game data and patches would need a lot.

Luckily, there wasn't any 12gb console around or I'd be damned...
