There just giving people a heads up since last update has pushed 12 gb game file.

 

Updates dlc so far = 3.81 gb.

Game = 8.23gb

 

12 gb at first launch would last quite some time.

 

Each year the games have grown substantially larger in terms of needs

Although most electronic's salesman that are gamers will give you a heads up that you will need too upgrade hdd. This is why the phrase "built in obsolescence" pervades our culture.

 

It sucks for those that have one but at least you can upgrade hdd for about $30.

 

Rock star should be commended for recognizing this; however, some of these updates could probably be rewritten, kinda a defrag for useless or overwritten code.

 

Time too upgrade your stuff ladies and gentlemen.

 

Reminds me of a old joke I heard, make sure you use a good Japanese accent when reading it.

There were launch 360s that came with no hard drive at all...game saves had to go onto a memory card

 

The lowest original PS3 hard drive was 20GB

 

12 gb at first launch would last quite some time.

The smallest at launch was 20GB...the 12GB is a "slim" model that came out in late 2012, for the aforementioned "casual gamers" who don't play much or at all online

So basically, for PS3 12GB owners, (I am NOT one of them, Xbox 360/One Master Race), whoever bought one must be feeling pretty stupid for being cheap.

Or smart. Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm on Xbox) but 12gb PS3 has an empty 2.5" HDD bay so you can throw in an old or cheap new HDD and easily add storage for almost no $$.

The 4gb Xboxes couldn't run GTA V in the first place, as the initial install required about 8gb.

To all the people who think we're fanboying, we bought a product and we're supporting it. We've gotten used to the issues it has (whether it be the XB360 or the PS3) and have looked past it, instead focusing on their pros. If you've got a problem with it, no need to comment.
