I didn't know you could get GTAV on something with less than 100GB.

I did the usual research when I bought my PS3, but honestly, the XBox looks like a big ugly toy. I wanted something that fit in with the rest of my entertainment system. No brainer.

Not be a dick, but I'm pretty sure the Xbox 360 used to come with only 4 GB, making you "master race" statement irrelevant.

On a side note, can't believe 12 GB was actually a standard back then.

That was for families with Kinect, not actual gamers. And that was only with the matte finish 360 Slim.

 

Also, the Master Race statement is not irrelevant, because XBox IS the Master Race console.

Better games, better service, better everything. Praise MS.

I get frustrated when I see "best console" stuff.

It totally depends on what you like, and need. At the end of the day, anyone who cares about gaming and has a job will get both consoles anyway.

 

We bought a 500GB PS3 and use it to play Last of Us, Uncharted series, God of War etc etc

But we have two Xbox 360's for playing GTAO, and Forza titles (we prefer the controller - long movement on analog triggers = win).

 

Edit: oh and gaming PCs - used for strategy and FPS titles although getting a bit dated now

I checked out my game files... Game data is just under 8.5gb, patches bang on 500mb (call that 9) ps3 os is ?? Gb, if we know that we know minimum size of 1.17, looks to be at least 500mb though, and seeing as that's size off all previous updates, you could be on to something.

16 major updates, several DLC packs and holiday specials, and the game installs a few gigs before you can even play it. Not surprised a 12Gb system isn't enough.

That's exactly what I did. I played my fat one to death (fnar) and wanted a replacement quick, so I bought the cheapest available - the super-slim 12GB one. I had a 250GB HD lying round (literally) so it was a nice cheap replacement.
