Do you guys do this when desperate for money?

So I have been pretty low on money because i just bought and customized a Warrener (great cruising/drifting car btw), and I wanted some fast cash. I do a lot of missions as it is, but I also find myself debating whether i should sell one of my few cars or not. I've done it a few times, and Im tempted to do it again.

 

I was curious as to if you guys ever sell one of your beloved cars to fund something else, perhaps a new one?

I always do it, it's the best way to gain a quick influx of cash, aside from Cash Cards which I will not do. I usually break it down to the ones I don't drive, and just sell them. That way I don't miss anything I've sold, as I had no use for it.

I only ever sell vehicles to get extra garage space.

i never though of it as a way to earn money as i love my vehicles.

If I buy a vehicle it's there for keeps. Unless a new DLC car comes out thats better than one I currently have. Just stay active and play missions, rob stores, sell cars. I make pretty good money just playing the game.

Just join/start a mission and go along with whatever everyone votes for, racers are best since it doesn't cost anything to race (bullets, etc.), and before you know it, you have some cash

Almost sold my Roosevelt about two months when I was in a bind, but decided against it when I realized how easy money is to acquire. Whether it be through Jobs, Free Roam (bounties, assassinations, HPVs etc.) or Cash Cards. I've only driven my Roosevelt a handful of times, but I & anyone else would be foolish to sell it imo.

No. I sell a car when don't want it anymore. With 20 slots, I've got room for those temporary 'indulgence' cars.

 

Also, this 'desperate for money' concept - I'm not familiar with it, but it sounds crappy. Could you not simply get more money, OP? There are ways beyond selling a beloved car to make some cash.

 

For example, if I had started back-to-back solo missions when you first posted, I'd have around $350K by now (4 15-minute missions per hour plus 4 sales of Ballers to LSC). That'll pay for your Warrener and all its mods.

I sold everything from my second character garage, because I never use the character anyway, and a lot from my first character. Adder, Roosevelt, Alpha, Surano, Feltzer, Banshee, Huntley, Infernus, Etc.

Sell Gang cars, Gang Peyote sells for $12.9k

Been doing non stop missions lately building up some good money

Been cutting down on frivolous spending lately

 

Has been a while since I been low on money but still, it's how a millionaire stays a millionaire.

Only time I have sold more than the odd PV here and there (nothing expensive though) is when I sold the Surano, Banshee, 9F and Feltzer from my Sports Garage a few months back to make room for the Dubsta, Panto & Glendale and as the last spare slot is finally filled Coquette Classic.

 

That said I only did this as I deserved the loss since I played FOS V3 back in the day. In general I would not sell as you lose to much money doing so from Upgrades in particular as you do not get 60% back for all of them.
