You people that waste time idling in missions are a waste of digital skin! In the time you spend idling around for an extra 2k, you could do the mission again, with loading times, and make 3x the cash.

I think that too. I'm not the type of person to piss about trying to work out exact fast ways of doing missions to "maximize" payouts etc... I see people post their ways here, every time I see that it would appear to pay better to recycle the "slack and earn back" time, and reuse it by actually doing an extra mission....

I just cba to even piss about doing the math to disprove lol.

Because the math is where your argument falls to pieces. When you factor in loading times and ammo/armor, you can earn more doing 1x15min session of RR than running through fast 2 or 3 times.

OP. All the missions pay practically the same now, give or take a thousand. The 2 key factors in payout are mission finish time and how many people played it. So just do 4 sessions of RR at 15 minutes each per hour. 4 minutes doing the mission and 11 minutes doing something else. $90,000 per hour for 16 minutes of gameplay.

my crew speed clears rr in 2 mins 30 to 45 secconds, we can get well more cash then the 19k you get for 15 mins of afk

Well, if as you say, you clear RR in under 3 minutes, then you would get half of the base payment (4+ minutes).

Base payout for RR is approx $11.5k. Divide that by 2 = $5.7k.

Add in loading screen times, it takes you approx 3 1/2 to 4 mins per play through of the mission.

You would have to play the mission 4 times in the space of 15 minutes to net yourself $22.8k. And then there's the ammo costs per mission...

Whereas 15min idle nets you $22.5k.

Working from the mission multipliers/tables posted here: http://gtaforums.com/topic/734328-116payouts/

You get 18.5K with 3 people doing it in 5 minutes. Your math is f*cked.

The person I was replying to said they did it in less that 3 minutes and the math is accurate to that, obviously.

Completing RR in 5 minutes would still net you the base payout of $11.5k.

You need to add a minute each session for the loading/session screens and that's 6 minutes, or 10 games per hour.

$11.5k * 10 = $115000

alternatively 15min sessions at 4 per hour, $22.5k * 4 = $90000

But then you need to factor in ammo/armor costs for those 10 games, approx $1k per session.

$11.5k * 10 - 10000 = $105000

vs

$22.5k * 4 - 4000 = $86000

That's a difference of $18k for playing it an additional 6 times.

In other words 22% more pay for 212% more effort. If that's worth it to you, enjoy.

I'm happy earning $86000 for 16mins of actual gameplay.

And sure, if you play with other people, it will add another multiplier but then this can apply to the 15min payout too, so that factor becomes irrelevant.

I think the word you are glossing over is PLAY. Standing around is not playing.

You're right, its not playing. But I'm not standing around either. I can get other things done during that time whilst milking the clock.

Missions are just a means to be able to afford the content in the next update. I play the game how I like after that.

Just chilling for 15 min and getting over 20k with no effort. Sounds good to me, getting cash while chating, watching tv or whatever.

Not to mention if you play multiple times like that, you increase the risk of getting booted/GTAO crashing on your console (so add another 5-10 mins per crash) In reality you're getting more money from the single playthrough rather then spamming the mission. Not to mention, mission farming is BORING  Especially if you're completing said mission in 3 minutes or less....

Idk, I did Rooftop Rumble last night and the game spawned me and three other people out in the middle of bumfnck nowhere. I got in the car with one guy who was dicking around while the other two headed off to the parking lot. Well, the homie I was with was annoying so I left him, then the other two guys died. So me and the other guy drove to the parking lot as well and ended up finishing the mission, getting almost 30k which I thought was pretty good.

Playing missions. Seriously. Just keep voting for new jobs. A lot of Gerald's are paying close about or more than $10K.

So, what's the fastest way now? What's the easiest?

And, I'm on PSN. Anyone wanna help me do it your way on PSN GTA:O?

Simeon missions are the win for now. If you want action packed missions, then aim at the low-paying missions pre-1.16 update such as Crystal Clearout [1 by Trevor], Diamonds Are For Trevor, etc. If you want Grand Theft Auto-like missions then Simeon missions can give you that feeling.

Just yesterday I managed to get 30k+ just by playing random missions.

If this is your attitude then glitch or buy a shark card. Grinding missions is a stupid waste of time if you don't enjoy them.
