Did I say R* invented Lotus? No. Did I say R* invented the Voltic? Yes. Did R* create the Voltic based off multiple real world cars?

 

You may not have the intelligence to realize this but none of the cars in GTA are real. Every last one of them was created by R*. R* does in fact take aspects from real world cars and combines them with aspect from other cars to create the cars that are in GTA. None of the cars in GTA are 100% pure reproductions of any real car.

Stock, it's pure Exige/Venom GT (which is like splitting hairs between a Ford Mustang and Shelby Cobra...).

Swap out the stock hood and front bumper, and the replacement parts are styled like the Lotus-derived Tesla Roadster.

In other words, unlike most GTA car mash-ups, the different custom parts actually let you style it to look like one OR the other, rather than some mutant offspring of both that doesn't look as good as either.

It hauls ass in reverse, and if the planets aline while raining, you can beat a Zentorno in reverse.

It flips from air at high speeds, it's great.

Great 'stealth car' for bounty hunting, too - turn off the lights, go off the radar, and there's no engine noise to give you away as you sneak up on some unsuspecting mug... :ph34r:

But aside from that, I absolutely love this:

Bought seven back-to-back recently - lost a lot of money in the process (and no, I'm not glitching money to cover the costs, folks - legit pauper, here...), but no painted hardtop. :(

 

Tempted to just bug R* support about it - get them to add it as a 'roof' option for the hardtop. I mean, so many other cars have a choice of painted/carbon roof - does the Voltic really need to have both versions as separate, un-modifiable variants?

 

(...rhetorical question, obviously!)

What I am saying and you for some reason can not comprehend is that THE VOLTIC ISN'T A REAL CAR. Is it based off real cars? Yes but that doesn't make it real.

 

The Voltic only exist in GTA and was created by R* using elements of real world cars pieced together to create a virtual car. What you are not understanding is Lotus doesn't make the chassis for the Voltic because the Voltic isn't real it is only a series of 1's and 0's inside of your console.

 

Why is that so hard for you to grasp? It's a simple concept really. Lotus is real, Tesla is real, the Venom is real, and the Voltic is a virtual car created by employees at R* specifically for GTA. As I said in an earlier post if I am wrong please point me in the direction where I can buy a Coil Voltic besides in GTA 5.

It's funny when someone comes on here and asks for opinions on a car he/she might want to buy. They get bombarded with 100 replies, 45 saying it's awesome, 45 saying it's awful, and 10 just being trolls...Try the Voltic in SP, turn auto save off, buy one with Franklin, mod/paint it up, and drive around for awhile and see what you think of it..Then just exit out of SP without saving.

besides that i can see a super car that dosent spawn in randomly on the street that has customizations from LSC and custom tires driving straight to me perfect for killing blind people

I think with that kind of acceleration for that kind of money: it's a steal!

Strangely enough, I find that it is one of the only cars that compete with the Zentorno in races with some tight turns.

 

But don't take my word for it, try it out in races or find one on the streets.
