The Coil Voltic Sports Car

Hey guys, I was curious as to how many people like the looks and the way the Voltic drives? I've seen it out and about Los Santos and have always thought it looked quite nice and it drives pretty well for the price of $150k.

 

Thoughts, opinions and would you buy it?

What ? It's great, amazing accel, best looking super. Great traction. Its just useless in races

No I wouldn't buy it. Not the fastest of supercars so not great in races. Not that fond of it either.

 

If I had little money but was desperate for a super, I'd save a little more and get the Vacca. 240k it costs and is a great car (is think). Again not the fastest of supers but looks nice and is fast enough.

it's my main ride in free roam right now. great acceleration and very agile. it can't compete in races against supers, but it's fun to drive.

Good car until you crash it a few times, then it just wants to rollover with every turn, which can be quite fun at first but annoying shortly after when you're on your way to LSC and you rollover and ten seconds. But hey, it's your money, buy whatever the f*ck you want with it. Just be careful with the Voltic.

You should buy it. Its a great car to just cruise in.

It's pretty good for cruising, but not so much for racing unless you're a very good driver. It's just because everyone else is going to choose a Zentorno or an Adder. I remember doing the Charles/iFruit method to put turbo on it. It went way quicker than usual, but still can't compete with the "higher-end" cars.

It has quick starting speed. The thing is a paperweight though at high speeds. You barely nick a curb or hit a turn wrong you go flying even while slowing down.

Really, really want one, but I've never been able to get it to show up with a painted roof - always that f***-ugly carbon one.

It's a lot of fun to drive, and certainly a must-own if you're a fan of the Lotus Exige/Tesla Roadster/Hennessey Venom GT.

I miss my voltic with turbo. The reverse was crazy fast and funny for killing other players thanks to its bulletproof rare end.

My Alt has one - I like it for missions and FR - races have to have lots of turns as all others supers blow the Voltic away on a straight.

I was able to glitch a custom one in with a painted roof awhile back and thank god i did, as it would be impossible to get one now.

It's one of the first cars I ever bought Online, and it's still in my Garage to this day. Obviously it's not a competitor for races aside from the acceleration, but it's a dream to drive around with, and best of all silent. It's a great tool to sneak up on Bounties.

 

It's one of the few cars that I think looks perfect. Just sexy all around.

OP, buy one. The acceleration is insane and the handling is perfect. It's also extremely quiet and has a lot of mods. The only downsides are the low top speed and vulnerability to curbs and douchebags who smash you off the road, due to its lightness.

I've talked myself in to buying one three different times and sold it within a day every time. It's useless as far as super cars go, and it looks cool for a bit, but I wind up hating the back end every time too.

 

Handles great, more power to you if you like it and keep it, but worst super as far I'm concerned.

Yes! I loved the Rally Masters on it. Sadly I took them off right before 1.16 (I like the stock wheels and was experimenting like usual,) and they currently aren't available! Hopefully that gets fixed soon so I can put them back on.

It's nice, quiet, and agile, but unfortunately will get annihilated by cars like the Zentorno and Entity XF. It does have a good amount of customization though.

Pros win races with Voltics. Amazing acceleration because it has no gears.

I had one long enough to buy it, soup it up, drive it around for about 5 minutes and realize it's one of the most undriveable cars in the game (the Panto is worse, so it's not tops). I was happy to sell it back at a sizeable loss.

 

Maybe I drive it wrong and I suck (cue a million GTA Badass stories about how they've won 1,000,000 races with the Voltic), but the back end stays loose. Can't make a simple turn without spinning the back end out. Like a Panto, except not as bad.

Buy it! It's beautiful, accelerates FAST, drives awesome (agile, fast, quiet), it's definitely worth a buy! But since sooooo many people drive Zentornos, it's not the best choice for races, except you find someone with the same car.

My first super. Still have it, wouldn't sell it. Zippy acceleration, it owns in downtown LS, can only be caught by Akuma/Bati.
