Why have we never seen Neo-Nazi gangs in GTA?

The skinheads were founded out of the pure hatred of people with different skin color and have done nothing but kill innocent people for nothing more than ignorant racism.

Skinhead isn't a gang, it's a subculture. Most skinheads aren't Nazis, either.

Skinhead developed out of the mod subculture in the UK back in the late '60s. It wasn't until the late '70s that skinhead would see a revival based around the first wave of British punk, and the emergence of two-tone--the 2nd wave of ska/rocksteady. Since skinheads were predominately white, and generally quite violent, the National Front began to recruit skinheads specifically to act as foot-soldiers for their movement. However, it wasn't until bands like Skrewdriver and No Remorse began to promote Nazism in the early '80s--not only through their records, but through their organization, Blood and Honour--that skinhead would become associated with Nazism. Still, there were plenty of skinheads who had nothing to do with Nazism, and plenty that were actively against racism/Nazism.

 

You pretty much have this same political dynamic in the skinhead scene today, though--generally speaking--Nazi skins are not nearly as common as they used to be, at least not in most scenes. I was a skinhead for 5 years, and in that time, I met more black, Hispanic, and Asian skinheads than I did Nazis. A lot of em were total f*cking assholes that would look for any excuse to get into a fight, but none of em were Nazis.

One thing I must add is that not all "Skinheads" have shaved heads. Some Neo-Nazis even have full heads of hair.

Because it would be in extremely poor taste and basically impossible to do without seriously offending at least one entire cultural group. You put neo-nazi gangs in and show them in a humorous or in any way remotely favourable light for even a second, and you're done. Even one cutscene depicting chummy banter between two men who have committed their lives to bashing the f*ck out of foreigners and Jews, and it's all over.

 

So in essence, you either have them in the game and make them a faceless, inhuman mass of nameless badguys devoid of any of the GTA series' trademark humour, thereby rendering them entirely pointless from a gameplay perspective, or you just don't have them in the game.

2. GTA IV had Skinheads (seriously, they were in TLATD. most notably in the mission where you had to rescue ashley in the High Rise building from the drug dealers.) they were obviously skinheads. the clothes were spot on. from the suspenders and bald heads to the Doc Martins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

so the question isnt why Rockstar never had em in GTA. cus they have. its just that no one noticed

Great question. Like I posted in another thread, it's funny how Rockstar has gangs that are 100% Black or 100% Latino and no one bitches that it's racist, yet the minute they create a White gang they have to put minorities in the ranks to avoid racist accusations. It's bullsh*t and The Lost is a perfect example. It's a double standard that needs to go. Oh wait, they did have the AOD who were all White and guess what...Rockstar HAD to make them racist and make them look like a big fckn joke. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's Rockstar's Liberal ways.

On the topic, I do think it's time for a neo-Nazi gang or some other racist gang. It's a part of life. I can here the Lawsuits and public outrage already...unless it's a racist minority gang in which case killing "crackers" would be A OK. SMFH.

I believe there were neo-Nazi's or skinheads in GTA IV. They usually hang around in Middle Park East. I always beat them up when I see them. Though I think some of them are just punks.

 

I liked how Manhunt had a whole gang of neo-Nazi's at your disposal.

 

Offtopic: There was this guy in GTA IV that shouted "You Only Live Once" once I fired a gun. I ripped him to pieces

There were some racist/neo nazi gangs in GTA before.White Stallionz in VCS had posters with some nazi style symbols,Angels Of Death in GTA 4/EFLC were said to be racists,there was some skinhead gang in GTA 4,and in GTA 5 there is Civil Border Patrol,which is some kind of organization that attacks immigrants.

There will probably not be anything more nazi and racist than those gangs if that would offend many players,maybe only if they would be established as protagonist´s main enemies (like AOD in GTA TLAD).

It makes me think though, why would somebody get offended that there's a Neo Nazi gang in a game where you can kill indiscriminately? It's like a bunch of parents getting together and saying that porn stars saying "f*ck" is what's the real danger to kids.

Since you are mentioning biker gangs, they aren't always white, there ares some racially mixed 1%/outlaw MC clubs, like the Mongols , Bandidos, Chosen Few. Vagos and some more. even pure black like the Dragons MC , they made the AoD racist because.a big number of 1% clubs are racially homogenous and made up of white people, they didn't made the Lost entirely racist because..... no one wants to play as a racist character, they have to make them somewhat more likable/excusable .

There's exceptions with the groups racial policies, in some cases where black people have been able to enter the Hell's Angels MC (gang with a history of racism and somewhat bigoted members)

 

The marabuntas (those creeps with tattooed faces that hang in the LS river at night ) are based on the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), gang with an history of violence against black people, made up ONLY of latino people, but that gang had minor to zero involvement in V's "story", so we missed them calling Franklin a monkey or ni**er, maybe next time.

It is what we make it. The way I see it rednecks gang and those off brand juggalos in Blaine county have an alliance and wear red. And they allign with Trevor and Trevor's color is red. The Lost MC wears dark blue if uve noticed, the only usuable gang colors is light blue, not turquoise (aztecas) but the faded blue denim color. And orange. There's a shade of Blue (light blue) called Saxon Blue. I don't know if u know the etymology of the word Saxons but It literally means white person. So the Aryan Brotherhood of GTA shud wear light blue and be called The Saxons, and they said have a rival that wears orange. Ok in Paleto Bay there is a very large farm that has many Orange Fruit Trees. So that farm company probably has alot to do with income to Paleto Bay as far as agriculture goes. The Rival crew of Saxons that wears Orange cud say that's why their color is orange that's where they come from. The Light Blue wearing Neo-Nazi gang cud be from Liberty City originally because L.C sport teams wear light blue. And there's the punchline for a new breed of 2 street gangs in San Andreas. But what will the orange gangs name and cause be? Well we know they hate the Saxons. The Lost MC and Ballas have a small known presence in Paleto Bay and they do business together most likely because off the Mill front. Take it from there and add me I have the same name on PS4.
