I always get in if the honk or have a nice ride I always give a chance as iv meet some awesome players. However if they kill me I will hunt them and anyone they seem to be pals with them untill the rage quit the session.

OT; I don't... any time I have in the past, I've always found myself facepalming. And I dont give rides to strangers either, unless I happen to be helping someone who's getting grieved... and then, it's only to get them away from a bad situation. They get dropped off a few blocks away.

I used to shoot on sight in GTA Online back when I played Auto Aim. But it seems to me Free Aim sessions have a lot more friendly players, As when I go up and honk my horn at them they often honk back and get in my car or stop so I can get in thirs. I've made quite a few good friends this way.

If they drive up passively and honk at me while I'm on foot like they want me in, sure, why not. The worst they'll do is kill me, and I'll get my revenge or leave. Try to kill me however, and you'll get a bullet in the head.

Yeah, it can be fun. Just depends on who is giving you a ride and what their intentions are. I must be lucky, because no one I've rode with has tried to kill me... yet.

 

I've done it several times, and each time, it's actually ended up relatively well. I find that if people want to kill me, they'll do it on site instead of wasting both our time driving me to some obscure location to do it. Sometimes it be kinda awkward, especially if the other person seemingly has no idea what to do (or where to go), but the best times are when you both go around blowing people up (or waiting for people to advance towards you and mowing them down). I spent 2 hours the other day blowing up psycopaths and doing drive-bys, all with someone I randomly got in the car with on a whim.

Sometimes. Half the time they take me somewhere and try to kill me, or they find out I'm a girl and take me back to their apartment and grind on me. When that happens I walk out...then they follow me and kill me. Either way l end up dead. Lol.

Only time I've ever got in a car with someone really (aside from my friends) is when my car is impounded. It can be useful to catch a lift, and most of the time people have been friendly enough to give me a lift there if I can't be bothered to drive.

Yeah all the time tho it's usually in a mission cause I'll accept from the apartment and not have my own ride. The best part is when someone is an awful driver and they eventually give up and we switch seats and I drive us home to victory. Also, if I use my female character, it's pretty 50/50 on getting shot at and getting honked at.

Yeah, why not? Like someone said on the first page, what's the worst that can happen? I like to see what kind of random stuff happens.

 

Last time, some Level 40 and I went to the airport and he proceeded to do some freakin' stunt flying with a Titan. He eventually wrecked us, but he was doing some crazy crap with that big ol' plane.

 

Usually lower levels will pick me up because I'm a 322 or something (I forget) and they think I'll be kickass in Freemode when it's highly likely I'll get my ass kicked.

 

I never talk to them over the mic or accept friend requests or party requests. But for cruising around? Sure. It adds a random factor.

I've been known to give helicopter lifts to people out in the middle of nowhere or those who ask over mic for a pick up. I either take them to Sandy Shores Airfield or the LS Helipad and they can hoof it from there, otherwise I drop them off where they put markers. I'll give randoms a ride if I'm cruising the highway from Paleto to Los Santos in my car, but not freely. I test to see if they're friendly or an 8 year old who shoots at anything that moves. If they don't shoot, I give them a lift.
