Beta and Dummied Out stuff

I don't know why, but I've had a fascination with beta things in gaming. Most of the times they're really dull like a HUD change or they can be completely different looking games (like GTA III's beta graphics) or different products altogether (like Resident Evil 1.5). So I decided to make make this topic for people to share if they have any beta stuff they have.

Years ago I used to hack SNES ROMs, and most of them had dummied out data, such as weapons, AI configs, etc. I'd usually try to clean them up when needed and reinsert them. I've always found it interesting since it can provide a bit of a window into what the game looked like throughout development, and some of the ideas that originally went into it.

So do I. I frequent The Cutting Room Floor Wiki these days, and I've always been into this.

And I feel old as I see that sites and YouTube channels like DidYouKnowGaming have found a way to market this stuff - in my day, I would watch obscure videos made in WMM on early YouTube, and this stuff was for boring nerds like myself.
