tbh, no one gives a sh*t about music. GTA isn't about music. If you want to listen to music then go to YouTube and listen to it while your playing. I dont know why so many people are obsessed with new music coming into the game when you can just listen to music on YouTube. Music is the very last thing we need at the moment

ummm, I do give sh*t to it, I change station to non stop pop everytime I get in to a car....

 

Well we are not getting any new music any tme soon so if you want to listen to new music you will have to listen to it on youtube or something. Unless we get story DLC and they release new music then. Im happy with the music we got now

And I feel that we do not need any chinese song in this game.Most of the people do not even listen to Blue Ark.What makes you think they would listen to chinese songs?

I want to be able to add my own radio station, made from a USB stick full of mp3s, because I hate most of the radio station music and the tracks I do like rarely popped up and I got bored of them, so I muted the music months ago.

 

Will it ever happen?

As long as it's not the stuff anime fans often listen to, I'd be okay with it.

 

What I'm really missing is a metal hard/rock station though. I mean there's Channel X but they only play punk-ish stuff and I hate punk intensely.

I want my metal station before a Chinese one.To be honest. I'm pretty sure new radio stations aren't gonna happen. I mean it's not like R* has the money to license more music or anything [insert eyeroll here] . Although If we do get another station and it's another ©rap station I'm going back to my mp3 and sticking with it.

Oh and keep your opinion to yourself. I care about the music and lots of others do. What you're basically saying is "I don't give a sh*t about music, so my primitive brain has now decided that we all don't need new music, solely because I do not care."

I turned the music off months ago. New music wouldn't cut it for me , there'd have to be new 'content, as in the bits between songs and new chat show segments. But that would involve real expenditure on rockstar's part. Licensing fees, voice actor fees, studio fees etc. can't see it happening I'm afraid.

Don't do that.

You're both wrong. The music in GTA is incredibly important. It may not seem like it but if it wasn't there believe me you'd notice it. It's heavily based on driving and all the while you're driving, the radio is on. Fair enojgh if you "don't give a sh1t" but Rockstar. Along with every dev on the planet go to great lengths to ensure the correct playlist is included in their game.

 

As for the other guy. Guitar Hero. :D

I wouldn't care for it, no. When I heard the radio in Sleeping Dogs, I muted all radio-related music (not ambient music, which was actually pretty good) for the rest of the game, and had no problem whatsoever with having no tunes to listen to while driving. The noise you hear around the city was interesting enough to listen to, anyway.

Some of the Chinese-influenced environments in GTA V aren't very prominent, either. There's one little tower that works as a stunt jump, and then what looks to be a Chinese restaurant right near it. I haven't seen anything else, really.

I've been to Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai, I love the culture and dem soup dumplings, but like others have said, it has no place in GTA.

 

Honestly, sometimes I feel like I'm being trolled when people make these threads.
