I am neither an idiot nor tolerant. This is an awesome game - probably the best one I've ever played in my life. When heists are released, whenever that is, it will be a welcome addition to something that I believe doesn't actually need it. That's just my opinion though. I love this game. That doesn't mean I'm suckling the teat of Rockstar. It just means I'm not a blind, self-entitled mong that has no patience and lacks imagination and creativity.

 

Not to take sides, but he(luisniko) was right in his statement. You also say you are not blind and think this game doesn't need heists? Well it may not need heists, but it sure needs help. There is a reason a majority only play freemode and do rooftop rumble. What you said about patients, imagination, etc makes no sense in what is being discussed....in fact I am just confused on what your take is other than, you like this game the way it is and you are not sucking the teat of R*.

R* wants players to buy CashCards for money.

 

If Heist is low paying, then it'd be nothing different than doing contact mission and players will definitely just do contact mission instead.

 

If Heist is time locked, Rockstar will be complained for limitation while they were promoting "unlimited possibilities" and showed that players can do Heist anytime they want in the release trailer.

 

If Heist is extremely difficult, that means it clearly showing that Rockstar imbalanced the difficulty because they don't want players to win.

I think that's what R* done to them now

one major problem is they ratio between the cost of item and the payout, even now, the "most expensive thing" isn't really THAT expensive that needs heist to shorten the time it takes for legit player (glitcher takes 5 mins for the money for tanks, legit player takes weeks), which already affect the card sales.

but with it comes to the "H word" people will expect something like "big score", a payout like 12M something, or at least something like 300k like the first heist in SP (jewery shop thing), and like you said, affect the card sales even more.

so basically, the card thing is totally f*cked up now, not because of glitch, mods, but the mis-match of payout/ cost issue.

so R*, I tell you what, f*ck heist, that's gonna be crap, just please just take it away from your god damn work schedule and put a new item "interesting new long ass mission" back. that might be even better.

It's heistS people, plural. Why does everyone seem to forget that when it comes to this word in particular?!

 

For the same reason people say 'i have 10 millions,' when refering to ingame cash.

On-Topic: Coding is difficult - I for one know this from experience since even basic languages are time consuming and tedious. I assume it only got past the planning stage since fragments of the code was found recently [citiation need].

Narrow minded people like yourself are always quick to form stereotypical opinions of others who believe there is an ulterior motive behind certain things. You think R* cutting payouts, holding back heists, and making everything triple the price of SP has NOTHING to do with them squeezing out the most profit they can? You happily accept R*s actions which is fine dude...but don't belittle someone for expressing a generally well known corporate intention.

Ever considered they're attempting (loosely put) to give people more reason to play the f*cking game and not purchase $500,000 safe-houses and Z-Types within the first month of joining? People whined about how easy it was... now it's harder and everyone's crying, again.

 

Once pop-ups appear that advertise Cash Cards during missions or while purchasing equipment or vehicles, I will accept that Rockstar has become greedy and will no longer defend them. I am belittling those whose opinions count as "facts" - turn that statement on me if you will since I am guilty at times of doing it, too. Maybe there was a sort of quick feedback from the within 2 weeks experience of Story Mode heist. It is very possible for Rockstar to pull a meeting about redesigning heist for online based on the negative feedback given.

 

The problem is: They are like sissy boys. If they want to revamp Heist, then the PR should inform players about the company update - which is "revamping heist", then say the date. PR's job is to update users, keep them informed and hyped with actual-accurate info, instead of vague promises, stay silent, which end up being NATO.

I'm sure it'll be only slightly higher per minute earnings than the higher contact missions (and *that* will be because cash-cards). Anyone expecting to walk away with millions will be horribly disappointed when it does come out. I'm more interested for the gameplay value.

Simply because they aren't finished being done yet. Rockstar is notorious for taking as long as they damn desire to make sure the end result is up to their standards.

 

Why is it so hard for people to understand?

Yeah, that's why when GTA: Online came out it was a pure sh*t fest. The multiplayer portion was incredibly obviously rushed.

I was merely expressing the fact that this game is so much more than some people (a lot of people, actually) think it is, and that's down to their lack of imagination and creativity. They need new facets added to the game in order to make it better for them, so they moan about heists not being here. As you correctly said, we do not *need* heists. It will simply help people that need more added to the game.

I was thinking more along the lines of first, they need a hook to really push nex gen sales - whala, specialized content (heists, etc.)

 

and two,

 

360 and PS3 are old tech and the coding is compromised my modding. R* wants to release it to where it won't be modded silly in 10 hours.

Iff they will add Heists to Xbox 360 and PS3 , the game will just explode, you see how lagging the games is now ? all textures just disappear in front of us. So in my opinion Heists will be only on PS4, and XO

Lol - you misunderstand. It wasn't an argument. I was just pointing out that people that feel a need for heists are clearly missing a lot of what this game has to offer. Yes, I look forward to heists as I like the idea of even more choice, but at the moment I'm still finding a myriad things to occupy me so it's not a requirement in any way.

 

And I never said anything about Rockstar's "promise" to give us heists, or anything like that, so don't put words in my posts or answer me by responding to things I didn't say.

 

So there are no flaws in my argument
