Guys, just a reminder that being a holiday doesn't necessarily imply Rockstar is going to release a DLC. They might have done it for Christmas and Valentines, but they didn't release anything in Easter, for example.

They should release Zombie DLC for Easter...think about it.

I want a vampire mod.

 

For a couple of days, vampires rule los santos. Get bit, become a vampire, stay out of the sun, feed on npcs and other players for health, move at super speed, super jumps, weakness to light, wooden stakes and garlic tear gas...

*edit* - get staked as vamp, respawn as human. Vampire hunting would be like bounty hunting, bigger stakes for killing.

As a vampire, the more days in gta youre a vampire the stronger/faster you get, till you can go off radar multiple times (no cooldown).

 

It would be glorious and legendary.

no more vampire shows for you

Shows are new-fangled trickery.

 

Also just to clarify, they dont sparkle either.

Undead Nightmare was one of the greatest DLCs ever. That was perfectly timed and executed. I can't believe that nothing Halloween/Horror themed for GTA V was planned. You could take back all the free DLC to date for something as well done as RDR's Undead Nightmare. I know most of the content was single player but it's better than hipster clothing and cheese grater inspired cars.

No one expects it for every holiday, but the fact that we had a Valentines Day DLC and not Halloween is baffling...

Thats what I was thinking, and I was like wtf when the valentines day update came out (and its my b-day, boom), halloween trumps that. Regardless though, most of the content in any update didn't expand on the online mode in general except for glitch patching, little tweaks and nerfs. Those are what I look for the most in any update, holidays are just an excuse for a deadline of sorts to refresh everyone by now.

Yeah well, we are not happy because we didn't want dumb event. We wanted Halloween DLC, Cars, masks, costumes and guns maybe etc... You know different between those two?

We need the developers to fix those annoying bugs, those small details that make a big difference.

On topic, it made sense a Halloween update, but they always lack something, but it would be better than nothing.

Not every holiday, just the goofy American ones. The game is supposed to be a parody of American culture, so you'd think they'd include our most ridiculous holidays.

 

Also, R* just had a major announcement about new console content, so I think people were expecting them to toss the old skool folks a bone. That, and the mysterious 7 hour downtime for maintenance got everyone's imagination running wild.

Zombie heists, You have to steal abunch of zombies and unleash them on some gang, Ballas or maybe Martin turns on the player and you have to unleash zombies on his goons

I know, right? And a lot of these ideas would require very little effort and coding on Rockstar's part. They could take that hearse thatis already built, make it purchasable with a couple of customization options and some spooky horns, and people would be STOKED. Add a couple new masks, a few races and missions, and that's your Halloween DLC.

 

There wouldn't be any whining for new DLC until at least Christmas.

I think this halloween event came from a handwritten idea on a napkin. I'm not even going to chase for these shirts since I have no interest in wearing the san andreas radio shirts I spent a whole weekend on.

 

It would have been better if they never gave us a thing, at least that way we would have had a few more hours hoping for the best. Weak!
