Thread for Drug in Gta Online.

 

My idea; when you take meth for example everything starts to speed up and you go into something like Trevor's special ability, or taking other drugs makes the world around you slow, like Michael and Franklin's special ability. And wacky missions like the Alien mission, when you take drugs like toilet cleaner. A way to stop this from interfering with other players is when you take the drug you go into a special gamemode with only the players who took that drug.

C'mon, wouldn't using Trevor's special ability or something close to that, for five minutes be badass? But everything sped up and causing chaos would be epic.

I thought you said drug dealing not drug taking... It could be interesting if you had to go and buy coke from Martin or Gerald and meth from Trevor in bulk and distribute it.

Meh I prefer flying my buzzard just blazed while weaving through the streets of Los Santos blowing up everything and anyone I run into. As far as your idea goes though, probably not going to happen.

you mean like back in Vice City of GTASA when we can get hight off drugs and move slow for a few seconds and punch NPC till they fly in the air (lol)... f*ck YEAH

To expand on your idea, and to remove the game mode switching scenario (since i doubt the game could handle it on a technical level.) there should be different drugs that have different positive AND Negative effects.

 

Here are 8 drugs that could be used in game: Cocaine, Crack (cheap cocaine), Ice (meth), Ecstasy, PCP, Weed, LSD, and replace Brucie with street hustlers.

 

Cocaine: Pros - not sure about this one. Since player dots are always visible on mini maps and players can earn unlimited stamina...the heightened awareness and boundless energy would be hard to emulate. Cons: Withdrawals reduces accuracy with firearms, player gets searing headaches (maybe injured head effect from fallout 3), and long term use makes player character lose attractiveness (though they already look like crack hoes at times).

 

Crack: Similar to cocaine, cheaper, but more detrimental with less/weaker bonuses.

 

Ice: Pros - Physical Exhilaration, health regeneration is increased and overall health is raised by 15%. Cons: Withdrawals lower total stamina by 50% and prolonged use lowers base stamina skill. (or something)

 

Ecstasy: Again not sure how to emulate this one...maybe this one is not for the player but purely for that sake of trading or selling. Or RP boost. Cons could include blurred vision on withdrawal.

 

PCP: Pros - The player gains 300% health and some sort of damage mitigation. Cons: Highly addictive, if the player withdrawals health is reduced by 50% and shakes occur reducing accuracy.

 

Weed: (keep the weed visuals and impairments but make them last longer) more RP bonuses I guess.

 

LSD: A "fun drug" that just messes up the player's perceptions.

 

Shark juice: Just instead of the player calling Brucie for the good they get them from hustlers and can sell them. also add a negative effect for withdrawals if the player become addicted or something.

 

 

 

With all these drugs, save for a select few, they have a chance of causing the player to become addicted. there could be different stages of addiction that requires the player to take more to remain normal or to gain the effects, then by taking more the player has a higher chance of going to the next level of addiction. Also there would need to be a system to become "clean" maybe quitting cold turkey for a period, another drug, or something else.

 

(Ideas for effects came from various medical sites and wikis.)

 

But of course this ever happening, or being this in depth is a looooooooooooong shot. (I will definitely try to make it for PC if modding is available.)

Level 70-100: The lowest in the food chain. Can buy and sell a small amount of low quality product.

 

Level 100-130 The middle of the food chain. Can buy and sell a reasonable amount of decent quality product.

 

Level 130+: Top of the food chain. Can buy and sell a large amount of pure A grade product.

 

Tier one dealers can only buy from tier 2 dealers and tier 2 buy from the top dogs. Highest ranged dealers buy from either Martin on possibly Gerald.

 

Still trying to figure out who the lowest ranged dealers would sell to to make profits. Possibly hookers or meth heads in Blaine County.

 

It would add so much to the game. Imagine meeting some randoms for a big drug deal. Or getting some of your friends to come as back up....you could get a rep and have regular clients that trust you, or maybe you try and roll them for all their product....

 

Feel free to add more ranks and tiers if you like I can't be bothered right now.

Gta 5 and Chinatown wars are completely different experiences.

You have issues.

1.You play a game where you murder and cause chaos for fun. (Nothing wrong with that, but you just need to shut up. :) )

 

2.If there's a drug dlc you need to sell to more than npc's and this is the only way they'll actually want to buy from you.
