JoeBoneless
I used a coquette on a mission once and it's handling stood out I think that was in November I still have it, and drive it often , if that means anything
Buttrumpeteer
Noobs. Tied for first: Comet/Carbonizarri - Comet when you are in your most meticulous high performance bubble, Carbonizarri - accepts slightly more slop than Comet and awesome to drop top at starting line. Tied for second: Jester - Most forgiving. Number one if you are not near peak performance (intoxicated). Coquette - can overachieve in the sunshine with a lot of straight lines. 3) etc...who cares? HipHopMagician
(Not even counting the Elegy as a sport's car) I love the Coquette's handling, (Don't even MoundLicker) It just glides around corners really good, and you can keep most of your speed. Massacro is also very good, but it tends to understeer, which I despise. You need to brake quite a bit. The 9F is also very good at corners, but oversteers a lot, so you'll have to learn to drive it. For some reason, I got a faster time with the Banshee than the Massacro on Cutting Coroners, though I only did 10 laps each, I was planning to do more, then my friend got on and wanted me to play with him. I haven't tried hotlapping again. Panzer

Feurian42
I would have to say the Coquette. While it might not have the best traction in a tight turn, it seems to have the best mix of being able to bring it under control quicker if it lets out and is pretty forgiving when running through town at high speed going over all the bumps and ridges in the road. After that, Elegy, Massacro, Jester. The Coquette is one of the worst sports car. It may be your "favorite" but that doesn't make it the best. Track and free roam testing done by some of the best racers on GTA have shown that it's a full second off the pace of the Massacro, Jester and Feltzer and nearly 2 seconds off the pace of the Elegy. You say its one of the worst, yet have not driven one. You say its my favorite, though I do not own one any more. You cite track and free roam testing, insinuating that the humans at the controls are un-foul able. You do realize that your driving style has a lot to do with what you get out of a car, right? You do realize that almost all the sports cars will pull really close lap times with a driver that knows how to get the most out of a car. Any one hear that has raced me would know, I am a good driver, and racer. I don't expect you to know that, in having told you, I have owned every single sports car in the game. Customized them all online with max stats possible. The Coquette IS one of if not THE best handling sports cars in the game. Just because some youtube douche don't know how to drive it don't mean it is the worst. Instead of having an opinion about my experience with the car, get off your butt and get one and fully customize it. Then take it online racing, without time to learn the car. Then we can talk. Until then you are just running your mouth.

I never said it was my favorite and yeah...I don't own one now because there are MANY better cars. I assume you can't read since you made a ton of assumptions that were all false and things I never said. General consensus among the GTA racing community and track testing using the same tracks by the same driver who is putting serious time in throwing down the absolute best hot laps possible is the only way to test....and it's been done by many people. If you like it, that's fine but that doesn't make it the best. Liking a Ford Taurus doesn't make it as good as a Ferrari. Sorry, but you are WAY off base. trippy bongos
I find 9f's handling very good.Feltzer is also OK but I don't like it much. And if you know how to drive a Banshee, the monster goes very well, believe me.
Lay
I find the surano nice to drive. Only tried it in one race which I won, but i put that down to the others unable to brake when turning rather than the surano being that good. Yeah Surano handles good too but sometimes it slides at high speed because of the bulky size Yeah noticed this when racing it for the second time last night, went from 1st to 5th (last place) because it just span out of control quite easily at top speed. Hyperglide
I'd like like to throw a vote in to the Banshee seeing as no one has repped it yet. It's got very good handling and nearly impossible to spin out.

I figured the spoiler would help offset that a bit. Edited August 30, 2014 by Hyperglide

Maybe you should learn to read, I never said it was your favorite. And of course I made the assumption you have not driven it. You mentioned testing by some of the best GTA racers, not yourself, personal experience matters more than someone else driving it and telling you how it was. Its what every one does when they read, you inference information from the text you read to gain a better understanding. If you as the author do not want people to make false assumptions about what you write, then you should be a little more clear. And you are the one making all the assumptions. Like the assumption that I am not a good racer, or better than the ones who make the video's you watch. Assuming that in no way possible could I know what I am talking about. For the sole purpose that it contradicts your statement. All of that is beyond the fact you didn't understand why I said it was the best. Because in a real race, you are not going to be putting in "hot laps". There will be a lot more going on, like jockeying for position, out maneuvering someone in a corner, having them bump you. Things that happen in a race make those stupid "hot laps" a joke. The Coquette is more forgiving than most, and only one is faster that will out accelerate it, that would be the Massacro and it is less forgiving if you hit bumps along the road which destroys the car in races. You talk about other stuff going on in races....but the best car or even driver doesn't really win when everyone else blows corners or pits each other the entire race. The Elegy will always destroy the Coquette so will the Massacro, Jester and Feltzer. The Coquette is mid tier at best. Sorry, that's a fact. You can not like it....doesn't change it so finish your crying (I will give you a minute)..............................better now? Now go get a cookie and some milk son.
