As many people have said: I miss Johnny on the spot. It was nice to have him drive your vehicle to you but then at some point he got tired spawning, drive 10 feet and walk back home. He wanted to drive your car a bit more....way more. He'd go down the street, go around the block. I don't even remember how far he'd drive, if he disappeared or kept going. I miss him, I wish R* would bring him back in his drive-away form. It's gonna be something I'll always miss.

I miss exploring missions for the first time. I know the name of missions (some I still forget what they are) and doing a mission for the first time and not sure what to expect was a great feeling. I'll miss being a noob.

I miss the Rockstar created deathmatches that used to be always full, but these days not much people play them because they always end up on those silly user created DMs (1000000rp$20000000 runk up glitch or whatever esle they get named). And about 4 updates later nothing has been done about them.

where all you had to do RPG the garage and blow the package up which only took a few seconds and you got 25k....it was the ultimate mission to grind...very little effort, big payout

 

and dont forget all you had to do was hit replay and do it again...you had a mill in about 5 minutes

I miss the Rockstar created deathmatches that used to be always full, but these days not much people play them because they always end up on those silly user created DMs (1000000rp$20000000 runk up glitch or whatever esle they get named). And about 4 updates later nothing has been done about them.

Ahh yes this totally this. I have so many guns I want to unlock the lspd tints for and simply cant find a normal dm. Even when it is normal hosts wanna set it to locked guns.

 

Wish I could just join a god damn deathmatch with all the guns I spent countless hours grinding to get in the first place. Now there all sawed off and combat pistol locked.

 

This locked weapon sh!t needs to go it ruined dm and capture already.

 

Noone plays a stupid dm or capture with pistols only when there level 150-300++

I was glad that they removed the mechanic because I always had to chase my car intill he stopped like mile away.

Also missing: The replay button on some missions, specially now the (hard) missions and payout has changed.... time to bring back the replay button!!

Yea this will get the bitching started, I miss the original payouts of missions, just a group of us would do viaduct basin? and field trip. Then rooftop rumble and field trip, criminal records thrown in as well. We would farm them til we got enough money to get whatever it was we wanted. Then would just muck around in public session if some stranger started crap we would team up and run them off.

 

Or we would get ontop of the building near lsc place bounties on each other and see how long we can keep off the bounty hunters. But then came the day they nerfed rp and money on rooftop and field trip. So we kinda went our seperate ways. Then I found the dupe thread and branched off into other areas.

I think one of the things we miss is coloured player blips from IV. Not quite on topic but I miss it from IV and we no longer see it.

Right now other people due to the Connection Issues that have "mysteriously" appeared for me after Update 1.16...

 

Also being able to play good Deathmatches consistently.

I miss the mechanic, he never had a joyride in my cars and he worked fine but some whiners decided to get him removed, I hope next gen will fix him, hell even current gen needs him back, my shotgun feels lonely without him.

All joking aside, you are right. I am sick of seeing people with idiotic paintjobs and no driving skill in races.

Naturally, everyone picks the car with the best stats. Skill doesn't count for anything when some 12 year old can use catchup despite spinning out at every corner, then beat you.

yeah i think a few updates ago R* went back and made all their deathmatches have locked weapons by default. guess they thought it would be more balanced
