Bounty Strategies?

I love having a bounty, my favourite vehicle to use in my sanchez. I drive along the long road starting at the golf course and head upto the vinewood sign. Most people are in their super car so are slipping and sliding over the hills. While I scoot along the top of the mountains, they can't keep up.

A great spot to stash is the top of the bridge by the docks/airport, I get my buzzard helicopter up top and snipe people who drive on the bridge expecting to drive right into me. Most players don't look up, but when they notice me or try to shoot I piss off in my helicopter while they're stuck on the bridge. (I sometimes blow up their car so it will take them longer to get back on my tail).

Do you like having a bounty?

What strategies/stash spots do you have?

Do you prefer to be the bounty hunter?

I love having a bounty.

I get my Premier and troll other people with Zentorno by driving through smaller roads or driving in the subway while 5 other people try to figure why I'm not on the road.

And if someone else have a bounty, many times, it's mine.

Whenever I have a bounty, I usually try to find a sub and go deep down in the ocean where others can't get to ya.

You can also hide in your apartment and as someone is camping outside, call a mugger on 'em then leave out at the right time. If your lucky enough they should be on the ground by the time your walking out animation ends, then just kill 'em and make your escape.

When it comes to bounty hunting, i'm pretty successful most of the time thanks to going off radar.

Use god mode.

Where is the dislike button??

You get a LIKE SIR! All they are is trash. Cheaters ruin everything. If they would just think what this game could actually be if they weren't trying to fix it all the time but actually adding needed cars and heists or anything else that would improve the game, instead of cheater patches.

I love getting bounties because people come to ME instead of the other way around. I usually go up on a building with good sight lines and a lot of cover and snipe all the players who try to kill me thinking I'm on ground level. If I'm just having fun sometimes I'll put a row of sticky bombs a few yards in front of my player and just stand in the middle of the road and wait for a guy to speed into me and blow his ass up when he drives over the row of explosives.

Classic drive-by technique never gets old when you have a bounty. AP pistol's bullets raining against bounty hunters head...

There's a fairly sheltered rooftop in the north east of LS,

with a couple shallow swimming pools on top,

cargobob a tank up there and chill in the pool.

Whack a rubber band around the analogue stick,

so people see the tank icon spinning on the map,

and assume you're still active and leave you alone.

Meanwhile go make a sandwich and a coffee or whatever!

Not bounty hunting, but main reason why I own 5 motorbikes and no cars for this very reason.

Help a member of my crew by making myself bait!

Yesterday when I saw someone bullying a crew member, I chased the saleswoman out of a Posonby's and asked the fellow member of my crew to put a bounty on me. Sure enough the same guy griefing her went for it. I killed him once, along with some other player out to get it before I was killed by this guy I wanted to get back at for killing a member of my crew. And before the other member of my crew came around to provide some backup, that guy who was picking on her, killed me once more. And he narrowly avoided being killed a second time by me. He tried to snipe me from the roof of the big yellow shopping mall while I ran at it and zig-zagged. I was by the subway station when he fell off the roof, and had he survived the fall I'd need nineteen more carbine kills to unlock LSPD tint instead of twenty. Then the other member of my crew showed up, a bounty was placed on this guy either by her, or an npc, and he left before the feed mentioned how he got the bounty.

It was luck that I only killed him once, and luck there were only two members of our crew in that lobby, as it's usually seven or eight members at a time. Kill someone, bumrush their spawn location and break out a few sniper rifles, repeat.

When I have a bounty, I'll either go to Paleto Bay and hang out in the warehouse rooftop, the cloud car hut on Mt.Chilliad or get a submarine and go exploring. Sometimes I'll fly onto a roof in the city, but that's risky.

I only bother with this if the bounty is over 7K.

I find bounties a waste of my time. If someone puts a bounty on my I stand in front of my apartment until a well meaning player clears it for me.

My 3 year old niece loves to yell "you can't catch me!" Then run away. I'm 29 and I feel the same way when I get a bounty. I like taking the Bati up into the mountains, going head on with whoever is chasing me and then turn away at the last second. Other times I like to take a helicopter and get on a roof. Either way, I love me some bounties. Sometimes I'll steal car after car just trying to get a bounty.

I tend to befriend people with bounties, partly because I'm a friendly sausage and partly because, well, having people trust you usually ends up being a useful asset online. Eventually they end up asking me to take it and then we split the money 50/50. Works for me!

If I have a bounty I find a little underground passage nearish the construction site and go in there, waiting for people to come for me. Most of my bounties tend to come from friends or crew members - we put low bounties on each other and just defend one another, so if I've got a bounty from me (be it from them or anyone else) we'll group together. :]
