fastman92 limit adjuster

Are these cover points even used by the AI?

They take cover behind cars for sure, and quite likely they do use buildings too.

Decided to try latest release of this adjuster but suddenly got an error "Procedure entry point K32EnumProcessModules not found in the DLL KERNEL32.DLL".

 

Clean game - only Silent ASI Loader installed;

gta_sa.exe size: 14 383 616 bytes;

 

Everything was OK with all set of previous versions (up to 1.6). Any ideas why 1.8 doesn't start?

I compiled it using Visual Studio 2013 XP compatible compiler.

However if he uses XP, Service Pack 3 will be required.

sure PSAPI_VERSION is not set to 2? This is what triggers those relatively new K32* dependencies.

Huh)) I got XP3 SP3, but it's a custom - so this can be a reason as custom versions are not stable at all. But I use mine already for 5 years... Anyway, thanks for the explanation - I'll try to install some stuff from MS.

 

Well, vcredist_x86.exe for MS Visual Studio 2013 doesn't help( I bet problem is with my Service Pack.

How to set PSAPI_VERSION macro to have value of 1 in Visual Studio?

 

I have no idea if it was compiled with PSAPI_VERSION=2 maybe.

I changed it to 1 right now.

This version aims to bring a new functionality in GTA SA, the handling of enhanced IMG archives was introduced.


Test of archive:All files have been compressed with specified compression type and fully rebuilt.IMG_FASTMAN92_GTASA_COMPRESSION_TYPE_NONE - 915 MB archiveIMG_FASTMAN92_GTASA_COMPRESSION_TYPE_ZLIB, highest compression level - 533 MB archiveIMG_FASTMAN92_GTASA_COMPRESSION_TYPE_LZ4, highest compression level, LZ4 HC actually - 686 MB archive


Enhanced IMG archives have a lot more features. They have a 40 byte limit for filename instead of 24 bytes. Additionally, the compression and encryption is supported.
The specification of enhanced IMG archives and new IMG console will be released soon.

Beside adding support of enhanced IMG archives, some new limits got hacked.

Amazing!

Alot of mods will probably use it.

It reduces 50% of my mod's size, and it prevents people from stealing assets from it.

Wow this is ever expanding, I am currently using 1.8 but am going to download 1.9 now, I am having a bit of a hick up though; not the limit adjuster, that is spot on but what I am trying to do, I am currently trying to add a map (Vice City) to San Andreas for learning purpose but it keeps freezing on the loading screen, what settings should I change, I am using the NTAuthority Open Vice one because it is already converted and I have used your other tool to find free ids and have hand written them into the ide files myself.

 

So I don't see why that would be a problem.

 

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

No crash, but the game is freezing? This usually means a missing TXD library.

You've got to learn how to figure out what exactly makes the game freezing.

Think what do you enable so that a game will freeze.

yeah, Waiting for weapon limits to be hack.

Come to think of it I did add the 'Vice.Img' archive From NTAuthority's Open Vice into the models folder (your allowed 8 by default yes?) could that be why? Cause I don't remember editing any txd's.

Make sure your files are defined though gta.dat, increase the COL model limit, use IMG Limit adjuster, shift VC IDs to 20000, use SA generics, also increase the ID limits, the IDE:tobj limit, the IPL index limit, the map bounds, move VC to a good position..

Today new navigational zones that are bigger than (X_length + Y_length) of default "San Andreas" zone started working.

Hello again,

 

I keep getting a crash with shopping.dat, I am about halfway through adding Vice City now, could it because of it's position or do I need to add it all, I am currently still using 1.8 (too lazy to download 1.9).

 

Have I done something wrong, or is something wrong with the ini file, as dkluin very kindly let me borrow his?
