Error: 0x007F120E
Type:  Crash
Problem:  Frame not found. It can be caused by some 40 reasons as buggy model or script controlling anything from a car. It has been reported to try to try to tune up a car unprepared pro tuning. Possibly the crash can happen to get near a garage with a car with tuning parts not supported there.
Solution:  Check your mods and templates. In case of crash because of some tuning in a car that does not support, simply do not tune or try setting the carmods.dat line it properly because apparently the lines are incorrect. It has also been reported when using the mod to remove the windshield, on motorcycles, in which he had no windshield (as may be any other mod that removes vehicle parts)

Progress

New code got added to versions for Windows and Android functions over the last days.

A good amount of time goes into research of the problems that the FLA is addressing.

An application 'Android plugin deployment solution' got more possibilities.

I have also tried enabling the GTA LCS's timecyc editor, before my weekend is over:

I would actually love to see the full Capabilities of GTAIII, like how many weapons we can add, how big we can make the city, it's too bad not many modders focuses on the that game. They usually pays attention to San Andreas, IV, and V. I won't blame them, San Andreas is the best in the series.

I agree, tho San Andreas I only play on my X360, as far as for other games, I also would love to see full capabilities of GTAIII and GTAVC. But who knows, maybe some day we will get to see that come true.

Recent progress

Finding why immersive mode does not work on GTA SA 1.0.8 on Android

I have figured out why touch buttons do not disappear in GTA SA 1.0.8:
7c123c1327878862.jpg

When immersive mode is implemented correctly, the system bars disappear and they can be brought back if swipe from any edge where a system bar is hidden.

Looking at ped rendering bug on GTA SA 1.0.8 on Android

b00b6c1327878864.jpg c02d451327878866.jpg
Problem is not solved. There are currently other higher priority tasks.

CLEO loading on GTA for Android
CLEO tested on GTA SA 1.0.8 and working.

CLEO loading partly implemented for GTA SA 2.0 on Android.
There's an ongoing research, which should tell what's necessary to make CLEO compatible with GTA SA 2.0.

'Android plugin deployment solution' improved

Added an option to take screenshots from Android device and open the directory with screenshots.

Problem with Android somethings overwriting the lib directory, extracting the files from base.apk needs to be researched.
Sometimes the files from application library directory get restored from base.apk file by Android. It's a problem that requires a consideration.

It's doubtful that the added weapon causes your problem.

Recent progress

CLEO loader, making CLEO from Alexander Blade support GTA SA 2.0 for Android

I'm currently working on the appropriate loading of CLEO from Alexander Blade to make it support GTA SA 2.0.

I expect it's gonna take 2 to 4 days and it will be an internal part of the FLA.

By the way Android takes me an additional time, but in the long run I think it's a good direction. Allows me to gain experience in wider range of problems related to patching and big project development.

At present, we have let GTAVC1.09 and GTA3 1.8 load LibCLEO.SO. Only one or two of these offsets need to be modified. At present only SA2.0 is not successful, you can solve it is great

At present,  @LCstuntman is  studying this problem, but I think he may have a problem

So if you can solve it, it would be great.

PM me, I have a lot of progress with SA 2.00, just missing one more offset to redirect (for ProcessOneCommand). Can't find where it's set in CLEO.so (III & VC were relatively obvious).

Another problem is that the new game libraries (libgtasa.so) no longer calls certain functions. One of those functions is the ProcessOneCommand we need to hook. The process has been replicated elsewhere (as part of RunningScript7ProcessEv), but without the EXPORT label. EDIT: see screenshot here, comparing an old library (left side) to 2.00's (right side):

Spoiler

(This is the at the end of the RunningScript7ProcessEv export)

And if you're going to work on libCLEO.so, you should start with this build, as it already supports the latest versions of GTA3 & VC

The FLA will have CLEO loaded in more professional way then what you've created.

Game version IDs will be added. Think about the scripts which rely on the game version to choose memory addresses.

Are you writing a new .so? And for SA only, or III through LCS?

I'm aware of the memory addresses. Only the first game versions are replaced, so SA scripts would still work for all versions except 1.0.0 for example. Definitely not ideal though

I'm working on the loader for CLEO by Alexander Blade.

You wrote this

"(Due to space limitations, I can't add new IDs. Instead, the new versions replace the IDs from the oldest versions, III 1.4 & VC 1.03)"

This is unprofessional. FLA on the other side will not overwrite any existing game version IDs. New IDs will get added.

You've tried making CLEO work with newer game versions and might have a success, but the way you're doing it is flawed severely.

If you can get it to work with new IDs then great. I just wanted CLEO in the new updates already. I don't personally care about versions as old as 1.03, and the main goal was not full 'professionalism', but I look forward to seeing it

hi friend, I have a couple of questions regarding FLA for Android

will the limit on the number of model IDs be removed ?

and will it be possible to expand the boundaries of the standard map?

ps
I've been modifying mobile GTA for quite a while, the lack of IDs is a very serious problem))

Can there be an android asi loader in theory?

fastman's the one you should ask, but I imagine if you had the asi's source code you could change a few things for the mobile versions and compile it as .so to work with Android, and then edit the APK's classes.dex to load the .so. But that would require a rooted phone, or recompiling the APK every time you want to add or remove a plugin. But it might be possible to make an 'so loader' as a kind of bridge to allow loading from a different directory external to the apk path, like cleo does with scripts. I dont know.

@fastman92 Have you decided on what the new game version IDs will be? I'm working on some cleo scripts and would like to future-proof them. I believe III v1.8 should be 21, VC v1.09 = 22, and SA v2.00 = 14, if they are to follow the current pattern... let me know if this is not correct

Currently hacking the limit of model IDs for GTA on ARM architecture is considered impossible. These limits will not be modified unless a major breakthrough in the FLA project will happen. I think I'm currently unable to provide a solution for these limits on ARM.

fastman's the one you should ask, but I imagine if you had the asi's source code you could change a few things for the mobile versions and compile it as .so to work with Android, and then edit the APK's classes.dex to load the .so.

// GTA III uses 2 digits
// GTA VC and GTA SA use 3 digits
enum class eCLEO_gameVersion : int
{
	GAME_VERSION_UNDEFINED,

	///////////////////////////
	// added by Alexander Blade

	GAME_VERSION_GTA_III_1_4,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_VC_1_03,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_SA_1_00,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_SA_1_02 = 5,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_SA_1_03,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_SA_1_05,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_SA_1_06,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_SA_1_05_GER,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_SA_1_07,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_III_1_6,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_VC_1_06,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_SA_1_08,

	///////////////////////////
	// added by fastman92
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_III_1_8,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_VC_1_07,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_VC_1_09,
	GAME_VERSION_GTA_SA_2_00
};

static_assert((int)eCLEO_gameVersion::GAME_VERSION_GTA_III_1_8 == 14, "Wrong enum value");

Currently hacking the limit of model IDs for GTA on ARM architecture is considered impossible. These limits will not be modified unless a major breakthrough in the FLA project will happen. I think I'm currently unable to provide a solution for these limits on ARM.

GTAVC 1.07 is actually version 1.06, but because of different regions and different Google Store pushes, you do not need to distinguish between 2 versions

CLEO (24 Mar 2015) for GTA SA 2.0 on Android

I've been debugging CLEO for several days and created a loader for CLEO by Alexander Blade. The loader will be a part of the FLA.

There were many problems to be solved before I got CLEO working on GTA SA 2.0 and I could enhance my skills on making the ARM code.

Fantastic!  When it comes out?
