I have one trouble with it...

I have installed some car mods and high res texture mod.

gta3.img was getting over 4 GB so I have used IMG_organizer and the limit adjuster mod of course.

 

Now I can play a bit, but after some time my textures wont load.

It usually happens when I travel a lot between different areas.

 

I would love if anyone would help me fix this.

If your gta.img is over 4gb ,i suggest that you should use modloader to install high res texture mod Edited by Crokey

If your gta.img is over 4gb ,i suggest that you should use modloader to install high res texture modTry increasing game memory. Edited by Crokey

or to be more precise, I believe what you have in the game there are models weighing more than 1800 KB, this problem will have you periodically, because that game can't handle such models for a long amount of time, and sooner or later, at that moment when loaded collision model weighing more than 1800 кB, the game just simply crashes!

 

or do you just model the collisions close to the threshold 32767
face the problem the same if you have too many tkhd which texture resolution is 2048x2048 and above, the game can not physically be able to handle such textures
therefore, your problem is not solved
I suggest you to include the display list of uploaded files, so it will be more clear what leads to the crash

GTA_SA crashes on start up if i use any:

already provided in the .rar archive (the downloaded archive)

 

can any one tell me how to fix that..?

I dont remember how but it worked for me when i tried it.You can do some adjustments to see if it runs or not.

I'm telling you your mistake in your files! what you may not understand, you need to remove from the game all models weighing more than 1700 -1800 KB to remove all collisions are close to 30000-32767 limit, and pinch all of your textures from 2048 to 512 at least, no other way no!

I've had an added vehicle in SA that simply refuses to display it's name in the carspawner forever (even though I gave it a name in vehicles.fxt and carspawner.fxt) the ID i've assigned it is 613, however today, now whenever I scroll down from it (it shows up above the Admiral oddly enough) it causes the game to crash. Should I try assigning a different ID to it?
So apparently the game tries to load a vehicle with the ID 644....wtf?

I've had an added vehicle in SA that simply refuses to display it's name in the carspawner forever (even though I gave it a name in vehicles.fxt and carspawner.fxt) the ID i've assigned it is 613, however today, now whenever I scroll down from it (it shows up above the Admiral oddly enough) it causes the game to crash. Should I try assigning a different ID to it?

So apparently the game tries to load a vehicle with the ID 644....wtf?

First off, I'm using THAT EXACT GODDAMN CARSPAWNER for one thing, the .fxt files should have made it obvious right away ffs.
