When it crashes it some times says some thing About audio....

 

or even says "Mp3 Report.txt" is missing even if it is already there....

No Log is avalalbe (i deleted them)

When I added another Hydra, I pressed 2 - to close wheels, it dosen't work. and when I pressed 8 to fly, It goes down.

By your first question & now this i am having second doubts how much you know about your pc.Anyhow,since you dont know anything here is the gta rw files that can be opened in notepad.

 

 

.txt -Text Document

.log -Log File

.dat -Data File(except for the san andreas img data)

.IDE -Item Defination File

.IPL -Item Placement File

.ini -Configaration File or such.

there could be more just not in my mind at this moment.

 

 

Just choose open with and then notepad or in file properties change the default application to notepad.

For GTA VC you ought to use Ultimate ASI loader, the readme.txt says.

I know the FLA incompibility occurs due to memory address changes.In other words plugins try to work with those old addresses which FLA has modified(changed).Correct me if I'm wrong?

 

But what about like this,

Well,I have modified the memory adresses of plugins to work with FLA/LA what ever?So the plugins are working normally with FLA.Take as example:CAnimManager normal memory address is (0x4C51CD) FLA modies it to (0x4C51CD +1) and the compatible plugin is also modified to work with memory address (0x4C51CD+1).So since the plugin is set to memory address (0x4C51CD+1) it has no issues working with FLA/LA.But what happens when we remove FLA/LA.The game memoey turns back into (0x4C51CD) cause nothing is changing it this time.But the plugin is set to memory address 0x4C51CD+1.So shouldnt the plugin crash.Cause the memory its trying to access is non valid?But it seems to work.Whats the reason here?

Correct me if I've mistaken anything & sorry for long post.

Sorry, I've been missing out a bit. I've been wondering, fastman, why don't you want to implement Alexander Blade's SA Vehicle Special Abilities? I mean, if you did, FLA would essentially become the only plugin one would need to add new vehicles to GTA San Andreas.

Thing is many features in the FLA, if enabled will make SA:MP crash.

Why is this?

There may be an array of model pointers at let's say 0x1236666 by default.

But this is the model ID limit that you want to increase.

At the same time SA:MP makes use of an array of model pointers. And assumes the never changing address - 0x1236666

Now why the address of an array is changed?

 

Because the default limit is 20000 and there actually is only space for 20000 elements, no more.

Bigger array can be allocated, but it will of course have a different address.

But SA:MP will still be unaware about it.

It will still use 0x1236666

It's possible to make plugins compatible with the possibly increased limits.

I always advise the major plugin creators to consider this.

In case of SA:MP this is not an option. SA:MP is not under the development and I have no contact with SA:MP developers.

The good solution when writing a plugin to make it compatible with possibility of increasing the limit is taking the address of an array from some instruction.

Suppose there is an instruction:

0x10402444: mov eax, modelPtrsArray[ecx*4]; // by default modelPtrsArray = 0x1236666 in our example

Now takes an address of modelPtrsArray by reading a pointer from (0x10402444 + 2)

In an example I assume the pointer comes 2 bytes after the start of instruction.

If plugin reads a pointer to an array from (0x10402444 + 2), it will be compatible with not increased/increased limits. If the model ID limit would not be increased it would simply read the default value - 0x1236666 in our example.

Vehicle special abilities are quite complicated to implement for any model ID. And to do it for few specific IDs doesn't sound like a good idea for me. Edited by fastman92

PROOF THAT P2DFX is incompatible with FLA and when you don't add a map, it don't crash, but if you add a map. it crashes.

You know what, fastman? I am dumb. I just looked through the INI and found the [VEHICLE SPECIAL FEATURES] section. I've been annoying you about this despite it already being implemented. I'm terribly sorry.

It can help you add more HYDRA AND ZR-350 VEHICLES, IF YOU ADD ANOTHER example: yellowhydra, if it's id is ex:795, do this:

 

 

 

[VEHICLE SPECIAL FEATURES]

Enable special features = 1

 

Number of hydra vehicles = 2

Hydra 1 = 520

Hydra 2 = 795

 

Number of ZR350 vehicles = 1

ZR350 1 = 477

 

 

 

If you didn't do this, Hydra sounds will not work and it will not act like a hydra.

Up/down lights. Headlights are covered (not just switched off) during the day and raised to open during the night like for ferarri testarossa

I know Fastman already say to wait until 4.4 FLA.

 

But, i have a question. When i use the Weapon Type Loader, and i don't add any new weapon, Just modify a vanilla weapon like a M4 with the silenced behavior.

There is a way to add just the ped-behavior (peds don't scared of the weapon sound) and not the whole "behavior" (like being able to run with a M4) or the silenced gun sound?
