I can't sign in either and I'm in the U.S.. Sony's site says the PSN is still online though, so maybe it's just us.

What's funny though, is that they're not acknowledging that anything is wrong. Instead they are pushing the blame on their users' ISP's. And I quote from their own site:

 

"We are aware that some users are experiencing difficulty enjoying the PSN. We have confirmed the PSN is stable. If you are having trouble, we encourage you to contact your internet service provider."

I'm getting timed out as well when trying to load the sign-in page. If I had to guess, I'd say that all of this has something to do with their scheduled maintenance that is supposed to be performed tomorrow. Perhaps someone read the times wrong or something and assumed it was today, LOL.

I can't sign into playstation either, And i am in Australia...

It must be happening to everyone around the world. So stupid this is prime gaming hour, everyone was just playing.

Even i was in a really fun race and i just lagged out

also some guy called "Lizard Squad" seems to be claiming he is DDoS attacking the cr*p out of playstation and thats why its down...
