Flight School - Chase Parachute broken?

So I've done this mission at least 7 times and its broken for me. 2 times I landed right in the center of the target and apparently according to the game I missed the target all together and got no medal. The other times I again landed right in the middle of the target and only got a bronze. Is anyone else having this issue? Because I have literally landed in the very middle of the target every time but the game is acting as if I landed on the edge or outside altogether

Yes, I have this issue aswell. I get bronze everytime. I once landed on the edge and got silver, then I gave up. :p

So try something different then. It's not difficult to figure out the answer here. Land on the edge so you finish in the middle=gold medal

For some reason it's where you stop walking, not where you touch down, I also got confused aswell the first time

the run your character does when landing counts.

aim for the outer ring and your char will stop right in the center.

final position matters, not where you hit the landing at first

Yep though it was pretty silly but whatever. Makes it kinda easier.

Just try to land on outer line and you should roll in the gold circle.

This little detail got me too on first attempt, I was like "What the hell, I did a perfect dive!", and got gold on second attempt...and here raises the question: in parachuting missions, the "Hit the center mark for more points" thing means that you have to LAND YOR FEET on the center (+15 points), or that you have to stop there, as in Flight School?

If this second option is the truth, my whole life in online parachuting was a lie!

yes, it has always been like that for parachute jobs. too bad nobody ever plays them

DAMN; this explains why sometimes I lost for 5 points, the instructions state that you have to HIT the centre, not STOP ON IT :panic: "Instruction unclear, insert dick"

I agree that nobody plays parachuting jobs, because most of the (rare) times I found somone to play with, they rush to the landing site passing nearby checkpoints because they think it's a race, while I take my time to perfectly hit every checkpoint in the middle (specially in the "tight turns" one) and do more points than them

Have you guys never done a parachute job before? I knew this from the first time I did one, almost a year ago.

what I don't get is, is the distance calculated by where your feet touch the ground, or where you stop after stumbling 3 or 4 steps?

i knew it from the SP parachute jumps, there it tells you when you do a perfect landing or not.

it's counter intuitive but it makes it quite easy to score a perfect landing everytime.

coincidently the distance your character runs is the exact distance between the outer ring and the center.

although if you touch down at a certain angle and use both triggers right at the last second it's possible to avoid the run, but it's rare to hit it the right way.

a proper landing includes the run

Yeah, it's where you stop moving.. it's easy to get gold.. just land just before the yellow and it'll walk in.. I did this first time accidentally and got gold.

lol i just tried it and got a gold by hitting the center without using the triggers to soften the landing

if you land face flat on the ground your char will just get up and stay there.
