Ok so I'm free roam and I start up Trash Talk, I get my Buzzard, pass the mission without issue, gets paid like 11K some odd.

Does few odd missions, gets Trash Talk via selection menu. Does it, gets Buzzard, Buzzard will absolutely not auto lock ANYTHING at all, no trash trucks, no ai's, etc. Still passes it, gets paid 16K.

Both was done on hard, only difference is I started the first from free mode and started the second from the selection screen. Anybody know what's going on with this?

You have homing missiles and non-lock missiles on buzzard now. You must have chosen the wrong missiles.

They made it so the buzzard dosent automatically lock on anymore.

Stop misleading people, it still locks

No both was solo. But was one of the above posters serious about the two different missile modes (homing and non-homing). If I had on non homing it explains a lot.

So tell the people how it works and what buttons you need to press it then instead of just posting snotty replys :)

It works exactly the same. Maybe you have it set on homing rockets off or whatever the new thing is called which doesn't enable auto lock.

1. Get in buzzard
2. Click to change from machine-gun to missiles (dont remember if homing is first missile set)
3. Click again to change to the other type of missiles.

It works the exact f*cking same. Just press whatever button you use to switch weapons. There will now be two missile options. One will say homing, one will say not homing.

Did the mission today, started it solo from free mode and played it alone.

Got my Buzzard, switched from machine guns to rockets. Guided rockets seem to be the first option.

Finished the mission and I think I only got about 13k.

How are you people getting 18k for solo runs?

The longer you take the more you get.

mission payouts are also now determined by time taken to complete, we still need to work out what is the maximum time you need to spend on a mission to get the max payout and if that its worth the extra time or if you would make more $ by just doing the mission again in less time.

Right. Else I'd just do all but one of the objectives of a mission and do some chores in the meantime, then come back for a high pay-out simply for idling.

Well, this surely is not going to encourage people to idle in missions with other players. At all.

Why couldn't they just "balance" the rewards simply based on difficulty?

I did trash talk today in a buzzard and i killed the crew leader and it failed me saying "the crew leader was killed." No sh*t sherlock. That's what you're supposed to do. We retried it a s3cond time and passed just fine. Weird.

I've had that glitch a couple of times when killing him w/ a buzzard. Now, just to be on the safe side, I land, get out, and shoot him with a pistol...

I've seen these glitch fails on a bunch of missions. Some people say it's if you kill a certain person before you trigger the yellow marker, but I've had it even when playing completely by the book.

or it will encourage people to be more thorough as in take out all hostiles, take a more tactical approach to missions, admittedly harder when playing with strangers without mics. lets just be grateful that they aren't forcing shark cards on us as much as they used to

Guns - homing - non homing.

But...since a patch or so back the buzzard weapons have stayed as they were selected from one mission to the next (in most cases). So on the second job, if you jumped in and pressed x (square) to switch from guns to missiles, you actually switched from homing to non homing. Probably.

always did that if you killed him with a missile, chop him with the blades as he comes down the hill

That fail usually only occurs if you are playing with other players, never had that

fail solo using the Buzzard but given the changes to the payouts I'm now back to

travelling by car to finish this one as takes longer = more cash at end.

i used a level 35 character tonight & made about 100k after 6 or 7 random missions (solo)

before the update i wouldn't have made half that.

Uh..The same f*cking button it's always been to switch between guns and rockets?

Just because there's an extra option doesn't mean they reinvented the wheel...

C'mon dude, common sense.
