Mission payouts after 1.16

Ah come on, I get back from Ukraine on Saturday and was hoping 1.16 would sort out payouts.

Except it has completely nerfed most missions. A lot still suck ass and most don't give good money.

Not only are the items very pricey, it takes longer to make cash!

Rockstars intentions are very clear now.

You're a fool. A lot of missions give higher. Just because your favorite missions were "nerfed" doesn't mean it was an overall bad thing.

But on the flip side, your mindset is very clear now :)

Daniel, what was the pay-out for that? I mean, taking that long and seemingly killing ALL of them?

cjdavies, if I might make a suggestion...

In the past I noticed that after destroying all three lazers, more enemies seemed to spawn around the large hangar containing the cargobob.

So it's pretty convenient that you can actually get into the cargobob before destroying them all!

Just clear out as many of the NPC's as you can, there's also about three in the hangar itself I think. Destroy up to two lazer jets. Put a sticky bomb on the third one.

Steal the cargobob, fly away and blow up the last jet.

Since the cargobob has (last I checked, anyway) some armour, you can get into it and fly off even with an NPC or two shooting at you. I believe there's no NPC's on the left side of the chopper, so you can quickly get into the pilot's seat and escape.

I haven't played the missions yet. I'm going off what everyone else is saying. So don't call me a fool because you didn't read what I said.

Unless they locked the cargobob until the lazers are destroyed.

Seems like a step in the right direction for higher ranked players like myself who want a chance of being able to play a variety of Contact Missions again...a step backwards for those with less time to play the game (so need to earn money quicker) as R* have undoubtedly ensured the ability to generate GTA$/hour from Grinding has been reduced...

Overall it seems as R* indicated, a significant amount more money is available overall for completing the Contact Missions so at least ludicrously low payouts for long Missions should be gone.

$18750 (this was like a month ago; haven't played since the re-balancing). You don't get paid extra for killing all the guys--I just wanted to see if they really did spawn infinitely, like some people claimed, or if the base would eventually run out of army guys. I tried it a few times and got a couple of different totals. Sometimes it would be 68, and other times it was 63. Not sure if it actually varies, or if those last 5 guys were just hiding (aka: "stuck") in some obscure spot that my missile-lock couldn't find...

I love how the people who are so happy that RR was nerfed keep saying that it was a good thing and it "encourages variety"...what does it matter to you if other players were playing different missions or not? If you want to play other missions, go ahead. But the whole "I want to force others to play the game the way I want them to" attitude is just dumb

The same thing can be said about those RR grinders... forcing anybody that selects "Quick Mission" into their lobbies. I'm glad it got nerfed, but we'll see a new grinding mission as soon as somebody posts it here.

No one forced you to hit "quick mission" lol! Are you serious??? Just go to the start menu like everyone else.

But then I'm forced to "start menu" missions. I shouldn't have to go to the start menu to play missions with other people..... especially since all people wanted to do was play that mission ALL THE DAMN TIME.

I expect matchmaking to give me a diverse selection of missions, not give me the same job that's been milked to f*cking death for the past 8 months. Since Jaunary up until now, Quick Mission = Quick RR. Don't tell me you're justifying that.

You are right, Sol Republic is just one of those guys that defends himself no matter what. He doesn't want to look stupid by saying you have a point, but little does he know, because he's not very smart, he looks foolish taking the stand that he does. If you go to the start menu, you have to host the job. I like the quick mission option, but 99% of the time it would go strait to RR. Today its not doing that.

Variety is the spice of lift , sometimes I use my left hand.

Yeah, but nobody asked you to use your left hand on them.

They say they're balancing the missions but really they've just reduced the popular ones!

But that's good, The 'popular' ones were the ones that were the most repetitive. At least now RR is considered a crappy mission now.

RR crappy?

I'm afraid I cannot be spoken to like that!

I'll still be grinding RR for the RP. I haven't been concerned with money in months, I just want to build up my second character.

Money? Pfft. #PeasantProblems

My point was that RR is the most repetitive mission in the game along with the other ones that were one of the three best grinding options before 1.16 (Coveted and Potshot being the other 2).

You can't say your not tired of seeing these words 'Deliver the documents to Madrazo's House' and then having to listen to Martin ramble on about golf.

Tonight with crew we got:

Extradition, Chemical Extraction: something between $24k and $25k (5 or 6 players, hard)

Mixed Up With Coke, Rooftop Rumble: about $6,700 each (4 players, hard)

Stocks and Scares ~$17k (4 players, hard)

The variation in payouts is amazing.

It's obvious that RR is now 10k with 4 people.

Mixed up with coke is also 10k, Trash talk is the same.

Any really high-paying missions you aware of?

Thanks!

Chopper Tail got me 20k with 4 people on hard. Then again, that may be only temporary, as Im not sure if Ive done chopper tail before on hard.

You guys may have said this already but, I am getting crazy high payouts for missions I have already done. All below level 32 or so. Some are giving like 10-14k when normally it was like $3,000-$5,000. I always play on hard but this payout is really high. I was playing in private mode/alone so lol. Not complaining just wondering if this is just for the day or something? Tnx

Its seems like mission payouts follow the same system as races do, the more players and the longer the job, the more it pays. While this is another lazy improvement on Rockstar's part, its at least a step in the right direction in attempt to diversify job popularity.

Alas they've failed to implement a block or avoid option for jobs you dont want, which still plagues deathmatch players who dont want to play spawntraps, melee only and FIB maps. Hopefully they figure this out eventually, id like to play real deathmatches without wasting 15 minutes trying to get into them.

I dislike being punished for completing missions quickly.

But I'm playing the missions alone and the payouts are like 60% more $. Maybe I'll play them again and see. I think I got like 11k for Ballas to the Wall on hard and I've done that a few times before 1.16. I'm level 30 something but just made my first mill and then bought a car for 200k lol

Are you on PS3 or 360?? If you're on the 360, there's a way to block user-created jobs that aren't verified.

In retrospect. Glad FOS V3 got played to it's potential by me and a few good men. It was worth it, and I didn't have to glitch. I can thank this board for putting me on to FOS V3.

The new payouts are gunna take a while to adjust to. Heists will have this weird pay thing going on too. For me I'm not too pumped on it. But it's part of the game, and I doubt it will hold me back. I'm inventive. The armored truck thing today netted me a BRISK 100,000... So as long as things are broken in this game, you schmucks can rest easy.

Hmm seems like Rockstar made a move in the right direction but the whole make the game a time sink so people are pushed to cash cards strategy once again kills the positive advancements Rockstar made with this update. It's absolutely ludicrous to provide a reduced payout for completing a mission quickly. Most games reward players for proficiency, not punish them.

You're right. And I also forgot to think of the scenario that maybe terrorists get hold of a nuke and drop it in the middle of Fort Zancudo. How silly of me.

Have you actually tried it? I'm guessing you haven't. I played Base Invaders today after installing the update, I put a sticky bomb on the last remaining Lazer jet, entered the cargobob, took off and detonated the bomb.

Why are you bringing hypotheticals into this?

LOL Desperate R*.

Anyways, I hope I can find random lobby with people who know how to do missions.

So they can do the mission for you?

I think it's very plausible that you get paid more for taking longer. This was already present in races, you got the full amount at 4 minutes.

Races are based on how many players vs. max allowed and full payouts don't happen until the 7+ minute mark. Max payout for a race is 5,000 RP and GTA$20,000

With 4 players on hard(?), Crime Scenester paid $10,400. Sorry, I didn't pay too much attention to the difficulty.

I just did Crime Scenester solo, hard, for $19,570, or something.

That seems about right. I was half-asleep when I played that, but I remember there being more than one life. New missions actually serve a purpose now! :p
