I love how the people who are so happy that RR was nerfed keep saying that it was a good thing and it "encourages variety"...what does it matter to you if other players were playing different missions or not? If you want to play other missions, go ahead. But the whole "I want to force others to play the game the way I want them to" attitude is just dumb

 

The same thing can be said about those RR grinders... forcing anybody that selects "Quick Mission" into their lobbies. I'm glad it got nerfed, but we'll see a new grinding mission as soon as somebody posts it here.

 

No one forced you to hit "quick mission" lol! Are you serious??? Just go to the start menu like everyone else.

 

 

But then I'm forced to "start menu" missions. I shouldn't have to go to the start menu to play missions with other people..... especially since all people wanted to do was play that mission ALL THE DAMN TIME.

 

I expect matchmaking to give me a diverse selection of missions, not give me the same job that's been milked to f*cking death for the past 8 months. Since Jaunary up until now, Quick Mission = Quick RR. Don't tell me you're justifying that.

Yes, I am justifying that. If the majority of people want RR, then that's how it should be. You CHOSE to hit quick mission. If you're seriously saying that an entire plethora of missions should be nerfed because you don't want to go through the amazingly impossible task of moving your thumb slightly to hit the start button (I know, we're asking a lot of you here), then there's no point in arguing with someone as illogical as you.

Has anyone played landing gear? Was 17250 on hard before the update and by far my favorite mission. Hopefully it's at least 20k now.

I see there have been a lot of changes to mission payout, and it looks like the $ you get is based on time to complete the mission, the faster you do it the less money you get with some sort of min and max payout.

 

Can anyone confirm that there have been no changes to RP from missions?

I just did Dry docking for $16,000. With 4 people!

It's one of the hardest missions, impossible to solo and it's only $16K?

Dont feel bad. The same thing happened to me. I player Base Invaders with three others and only got 15k. Increased payouts my ass.

First thought is that many people like to use the random option to find missions to do. If 90% of people are running RR then the random job always picks RR. If people are now going to choose to do a variety of different missions then that guy choosing random will see more variety as well.

I always found landing strip to be tougher than its payout, im curious what that pays now.

 

As for RR being dethroned, there will soon be a new mission to take its place once the community decides which is the best paying per time and difficulty, I just hope opinions vary on it and random job gives me different missions on a regular basis.

Seriously happy that RR has been rightfully nerfed. Hopefully this encourages people to play more missions. Really is a shame all my pals don't play GTA anymore, playing with randoms is horrible, but maybe this will encourage good players to play more missions

With 4 players on hard(?), Crime Scenester paid $10,400. Sorry, I didn't pay too much attention to the difficulty.

I have a feeling that the "more player = bigger cut" note is false. I haven't noticed a significant difference between solo and coop.

Crystal clear out 3, hard, solo, buzzard. $5100. Formerly $10500. It was stupidly easy money in the past though....

 

My friend and I did the same mission without Buzzard and got paid $13k. There's something wrong with Buzzard lol

I just did Hack and Dash mission solo and it pays out $21.600 and 3400 RP, it's a new way to farm your cash. The mission is easier if you have Zentorno to lose the cops first before delivering the cars.

f*ck you. The payouts are all lower for grinding missions, and the only missions near the old payout take much longer and you need 4 people to get said payout.

Did it by myself and went afk for 5 minutes, 21k.

If you solo it you get less. Supposedly adds 10% for two players, 20% for 3 and 30% for 4+ players. However, some people notice they get more doing it solo because solo the mission takes longer than with 4 ppl. My theory:

 

The thing that's getting confusing is that there is no set amount for a mission anymore. I hear people saying they got only 10k for RR then others saying they got 15-19k for RR. Another guy said he did the same mission twice solo on hard and got different payouts. What it seems they did was put some sort of timer in the mission that determines your pay based on how long the mission takes you on that run. So you could conceivably get the same pay from, say RR, but you would probably have to wait around with the document and just let time pass. Not sure if worth it. I bet each mission now has a minimum and maximum with some sort of pay scale in between based on how long the mission takes. Plus the 10%, 20%, 30% bonuses for 2, 3, and 4+ players respectively. So if the mission takes the same amount of time you should get more for more players, but if having more players shortens the mission duration, you may get more or less depending on how much shorter it is
