anyone downgraded their properties yet?

 

so If you put a new car in a smaller garage can youb choose to replace a car in storage?

 

and how much storage do you get? Will all 16 cars go into storage if you move from 2x10 into 2x2 properties??

Supposedly you can now call storage vehicles. I haven't tried it but i already have 20 cars in a 10 car apartment and 6 car house.

Yah, I gather that, it's more how much storage you get...

 

If anyone does do a major swapover, let me know.. I'm seriously figuring to get out the city and into a couple of two garage properties..

 

country life is so much more relaxed.... :D

No. 20 is still the max but you could for example buy 2 cheap 10 car garages and fill them. Then you could trade the garages for the 6 car garage houses in paleto. You'd have 12 cars visible but you can access the other 8 by having the mechanic deliver them to you.

Hey, I downgraded my 10 car garage to an apartment in paleto bay.

 

I can confirm it works fine when calling vehicular vehicles from storage by mechanic. Basically, any of the vehicles which cannot fit into the garage will be put into "storage", which can then be called by mechanic who will deliver it to you.

 

A neat feature also is, if you call mechanic, and then drive the car into your garage, you can swap it with one of the ones in their, the one in your garage will be moved to storage, while the one in storage will be put in garage. Kinda neat.

 

But, 20 vehicular vehicles is still your limit.

God, I hope only a few people (preferably none) move to Paleto Bay. Its so peaceful, no one is ever around when I get on.

I planned on moving up here to start some lobby wars in the area, as it seems to quiet up this end of the map ;).

 

And it's perfect for quickly refilling ammo etc during the war, tbh I don't know why we didn't have wars here sooner.

Questions: When you move is it the same as before? Meaning the cars in slots 1-6 will be the cars on display in you 6 car. And does the vehicle management tool allow you to pull ones out of storage onto display?

Yes, cars 1 to 6 will be the ones moved to garage, the rest will be put into storage.

 

As for vehicular vehicle management you can still rearrange them same as before, however to move a car from storage to garage, and from garage to storage you must call the mechanic to deliver a vehicle from storage to you, then drive it back into the garage you'll get a message basically saying "To put this vehicle in this damn garage, I gotta swap one of your other bloody cars into another garage man!". Just click accept and your stored vehicle will be in your garage while the selected car from your garage will be put into storage mode :)

 

Hope this helps... and makes sense.. I've had a fair bit of rum tonight so my typing isn't quite up to scratch right now.

 

But I know it works, as I used this method to move one of my bikes out of storage into garage.

No clue. That damn glitch cost me $400k to fix today because i had to switch my properties and vehicles from slot 2 to slot 1 which involved buying and selling property a few times.
