Anyone think flight school is waaay too hard at first?

Haven't tried for gold yet but they weren't too bad.

 

Mr impatient here skipped the tutorials and wasn't 100% sure, my only 2 problems.

 

On the first one I looped into the checkpoint which didn't count that loop, wasted time otherwise would of got gold.

 

On the one with engine failure I didn't realise we had to stop on the marker, I thought we had to get past it and overshot and got bronze.

Ground Level can suck a fat one. Even the cocky flyers posting here have to admit - it's quite a difficulty spike compared to the previous missions.

Taking a break for now, but I'll try it again later.

 

EDIT: Well I decided to give it one more go, and after 6 DNFs in a row, I went straight to a Gold thanks to ReignMillions tip about having the landing gear out. Thanks bud! I didn't think it would make that much difference, but it's a million times easier.

Got a gold on the first mission, and a silver on the second because I thought the plane would stop on its own when it hit the finish....missed by 3 meters.

I don't think it's possible to stay in green corona forever. Seriously, Besra is f*cking light as a kite. You'll get annoyed once you're asked to fly low. f*cking touch water, "vehicle destroyed".

I got gold on the first five flight school missions. Now I'm stuck with the Buzzard shooting targets at a construction site.

 

Its gonna be better when a thread is made for tips and tricks getting gold on these lessons and also when youtubers starts showing the ropes how to get gold.

Someone got 0.00m in Ground Level ? I got 0.03m because of only one checkpoint, it seems impossible to get the 0.00m because of this f*cking chekpoint. Any tips ?

Dunno why everyone is complaining about Ground Level. Guess I'm a better pilot than I thought...? Or maybe I just got lucky (got gold on first try )

 

 

Testing a theory, though. Will edit post when done.

E: Moving Landing is WAYYYYYYY too easy. $600-750 in less than 30 seconds every time after the first.

I got a blackout when trying to complete the mission when you're supposed to fly as low as possible to the ground. Kept crashing, and crashing.. Until my remote had intercourse with the tv. Still a better lovestory than Twilight.

That's what I was going to say: I immediately aced a few first time, scraped through a couple & restarted a couple.

 

I haven't done them all yet, but what I did complete gave me 30k fairly swiftly.

Yes.. but then again my controller drifts to the left and the looking direction to the right and up a bit, ha! I was just happy to finish the damned low level flying with a silver, after that the rest of them weren't so bad.
