Really, really slow updating. [PS3]

It took over an hour to get to 40%, then crashed. I've now started again and it's not even doing a single percent. The estimated time is glitching from between 200 minutes to 700 1600 minutes.

 

Any help?

Well, does it look like anyone's replied Ciaran? And I clearly stated in my other thread this was here, but helped "to no avail".

you got ALOT of people downloading it at once... be lucky its not a bigger file... like 1Gb or something...

But everyone else gets the privilege of getting it fully downloaded within a minute. Why the f*ck do I have to suffer?

Sounds like a problem with your internet connection to be honest, either that or your ISP is throttling your bandwith to death. Try turning off your modem and/or router for 30 seconds, switch it back on and see if that helps.

theres a few steps...one would be deleting your cache, second would be power cycling your modem

did exactly that and it downloaded within 60 seconds. Thanks!

I gotta try this. The title update was maybe a third done and just frozen for 15 minutes after.
