Those who like flying have been ignored too long, this update was badly needed. I sold my zentorno and bought a besra and a suit, would be nice if the besra had at least a cannon though. Rooftop rumble is dead! Good riddance!

I like this update. Was expecting maybe a few more things but the new stunt jet is f*cking amazing

And the flight school is very fun. Got 230k for all golds. Also, the new payout system is much better. I haven't experienced any freezing yet either.

It's nice, the outfit is great (I feel it'll be removed like the Firework launcher) and the training jet is so awesome and agile (We need to be able to choose colors on Pegasus vehicles !) it lacks a lot of clothing options, maybe add a couple of race motorcycles and a yatch, but hey, it's free.

i tried the first test yesterday at the flight school and couldnt even do it so gave up, nor can i afford to buy any helicopters or planes even if i wanted

What a joke.

I think they are trying to discourage people from grinding one mission and nothing else, which was the problem with RR having a much higher payout to time taken and difficulty ratio. I did Extradition on my own last night and got 14,700 for it. So with 4 people, that would apparently get you about the same as RR used to.

 

The money can still be earned, you should just try some of the other missions now rather than doing the same one for 5 hours straight.

I quite like it, though the low level flying school test drove me to f*cking distraction. So annoying.

I actually liked the update.

 

The flight school was nice tbh, variety of missions to do, along with voice acting, and I got 150k just for playing that.

 

Mission payouts being rebalanced was nice to see. I can play with friends, do mission after mission (not RR after RR) and not feel ripped off.

 

And then there's tanks being marked on the radar, reserve parachutes etc. It's about the little touches rather than "HERE'S A SUPERCAR IN A BROKEN GAME OH YOU HAVE 3 DAYS TO BUY IT GO GO GO GRIND"

 

It's a step in the right direction, I'm happy with it. I'm working towards buying a Coquette (which is more of a luxury than a necessity) and it doesn't seem like it'll take me years like before.

RR only payed me only about 14500 when playing with 4 people, that sucks!

No, this update f*cking sucks. No wonder Cockstar gets so much hate. Most of the stuff in the trailer didn't even make it in the update. Just like the reveal trailer for GTA V, the graphics were downgraded, things removed, etc.

Last DLC is a complete disappointment and here is why:

 

— Mission payouts are messed-up and unpredictable. There is no double money for the first completion;

— Freezing is back, I'm going to re-install everything to fix this and it's time-consuming;

— Content: 2/10. Coquette is overpriced, slow car. It's not Stinger GT or Monroe rival, it's just a cruiser. And yeah, as some forumer mentioned, it's impossible to pick-up prostitutes in this car. I'm not a fan of that thing, but that trailer clearly showed otherwise. It's just a pure lie and manipulation in that "movie" R* showed us. Swift is ridiculously overpriced helicopter with the size, speed and price of the annihilator but without guns and ability to hold 6 passengers. Besra on the other side is nice plane, but it's 1-seater and it's more expensive that Vestra, which is not cool totally. I used to pick-up some guys at the city and deliver them to paleto with Vestra, won't buy one-seater. Miljet is absolutely useless plane that can hold 16 people. If somebody really needed that, good for them. Of course, it's unarmed. Of course there are no flares. Sure, R*;

— Patch, on the other side is some kind of useful: there are tank icons, ability to keep all the cars accessible after downgrading the garage (!), second parachute, Lester’s abilities ‘Remove Wanted Level’, ‘Cop Turn Blind Eye’, and ‘Off Radar’ now apply to all passengers in a vehicle as well as the player who initially triggered it, The cap for the amount of Cash stolen by Muggers has been adjusted to allow for differences in level.

— Flight school is useless for me. I don't do tricks in planes and only use them as transport. I can fly, I can land. That's enough for me. It's really funny to watch how SP activity just migrated in MP, makes 0 sense for me. We're basically asked to do single challenges in Online mode for some questionable reward (about $200,000 for all gold), there are no awards or achievements, no unlocks for school or anything like that.

 

But there are questions:

— Where is our ability to paint or choose colour of our new air vehicles?

— Where is the third property? With this new trick for garages, why can't we get infinite space through mechanic?

— When, for Christ sake, will we be able to use helipad on Richard Majestic or some other building in the city. Why should I drive to Pegasus site to get my chopper when there is helipad on my house? And why there is a helipad, but I can't access my home from the roof?

— Why Annihilator is not buffed? Why we can't buy civilian Buzzard? I don't feel that we should, but why not?

— Where are custom crew lobbies without police, with custom traffic or weather?

Conclusion: there is nothing new and game-changing. New races, versus missions and crap like that are useless with that payouts like $2,000. We've got entire Social club of stuff like that, why should we wait for R*? Now it's clear that R* is not fixing their mistakes in coding, they're not improving game. Enemies are spawning behind your back in missions, traffic is stupid, police spawn is broken permanently (helicopters in particular), AI accuracy from vehicles are ridiculous. Somehow, these terminators are constantly managing to hit my moving Buzzard on full-speed with a couple of bullets. In Defender enemies from their helicopter are always lucky to hit me when flying towards me on full speed. Just one shot, but it's enough to piss me off. Try shooting your tail in Coveted, you will understand.

It's not hard to play GTA Online. It's just annoying at the moment. I will try my best to participate in cruises, but I'm losing interest in this entire game.

And he's not the only person. After I pushed down, I've got no idea, how to handle myself at different markers. Should I pass through them while doing loop? You know, I'm kind of old for that, I have a family. This game is a way for me to let off steam by stealing cars, robbing stores, sniping people, doing co-op. I've got no idea, why it is fun to do solo challenge online. Don't get me wrong, I'm OK with flying: I can take-off and land in planes. That's all I need. Chopper is my thing: Buzzard dog-fights, roof-sniping with Buzzard deployment, providing air assistance. I just don't like doing tricks in planes. It's pointless to me: no points, GTA$, RP or anything els for them. 200k for all gold in school? You must be kidding me, I can earn more through 8-9 tough missions. Different, without failure because I missed checkpoint 1mm. I never liked that schools and never will.

with all due respect to rockstar, theyve been playing around with this little game called gta for along time now, and to an extent,gta fans have an expectancy, and rightly so for a game thats been kicking around game stores for a long time, now im a new gamer so not as experienced as many on here to which i tip my hat to, but in my opinion, all these dlcs are for me are things that should of been in it from the start, but if they were, what would we look forward to?

 

regarding this latest one, as ive said, i dont do flying or parachuting, im useless at it, maybe ill get better in time but im not in a rush it improve, this new stuff is there for those that want it, and for those like me who are not too fussed, well, at least its there

 

the only thing i would of liked which has been mentioned, the ability to access the helipad on top of the apartments via the lift where you can store your 'copter.
