Did you like The San Andreas Flight School Update?

I thought the flight school was going to be easy, but I was wrong. It's pretty hard to complete.

I had low, low expectations for The SA Flight School Update and somehow I was still disappointed.

 

The only thing I like is the car. This update has a serious lack of content and what's there doesn't add much which arguably all these "Stuff packs" had but this one.... The other ones at least had something for everyone.

Although now at least the creator if fixed, and some longer and harder missions pay a bunch now (I assume)!

i really didn't care for it. i like that you can wear your hat while driving the coquette classic convertible. the planes and helicopter don't do anything for me since i have a buzzard. i like playing different missions, but i did like that RR was easy money.

I'll bet 75% of the people who are treating this update like it's the worst thing in the world watched YouTube speculation and wanted a bunch of impossible/ ambitious things, then were disappointed when they didn't get them. I personally didn't watch a single video, so I guess that might have made this update much better in my eyes.

 

The irony is the people whining about RR when so many people asked for the re-balancing in the first place.

 

And i'm pissed off about people comparing this to Beach Bum; none of the vehicles there stood out to me, the weapons were suckish, the clothes were lackluster, and no one cares about the update's jobs anymore. Why are people saying this update is worse? Is it because we didn't get another rifle or pistol? Oh, boo-hoo.

 

This update fixed the Content Creator, added new game modes, and added Flight School! Why complain; it's nice, fresh content!

I voted this as the best update so far because of how it balanced out the missions.

This actually makes playing early missions worth it. Or any mission. Just did Gassed Up with a friend and we got 10K or so.

It took the payouts and technically made us get paid by the hour instead of for the job. I do Bust Out so well that I wound up getting 1K less than I normally do, but I took the long way home twice in Coasting which definitely made up for that. I get 20K for doing Coasting now.

Screw the lack of new content that is useful. The game is fixed as far as I'm concerned. Best update ever.

Minus the guy by the skate ramps on the roof of the building in On the List. Tried 3 times and he can't be killed since he can't be found. Failed the mission 3 times because it says the time expired.

I can't kill the guy if he isn't there.

It may be "fresh" but id have to argue against it being "nice". Im not sure about that. Its worse than the beach bum pack in the fact that you can be "finished with the dlc in 30 minutes.

There was very little in the update and what was there was only appealing to some. They missed another opportunity to make the game better, but instead just delivered the bare minimum, and after waiting 2 months, people thought things would be different. But hey, i wouldve perfered nothing at all instead of this fubu ass dlc.

- Flight School is useful? Which one is useful? Loop, engine fail landing, can be done easily when you get used to plane control. Freefall and grab parachute in the air? I never seen a parachute spawned in the sky. Not more than 10 meters above the ground? Who the f*ck and why would anyone do that? Buzzard weapon training? Everybody does that... And many more..

 

Flight School is gibberish. It's a tutorial teaching stuff that people have been doing, something that never happened in the game, and something that doesn't make sense and applicable in missions.

I think people are missing the point that the main focus of this 1.16 patch, was to patch all the game breaking bugs that plagued the 1.15 update.

 

People wanna bitch and complain about the god mode glitches and etc. and when it finally gets patched, it seems like everyone forgotten about it and complain about lack of dlc.

 

Dlc wasn't the focus of this update. It was mostly a shxt ton of bug fixes. Just read the patch notes.

 

Also, the rebalancing of payouts is honestly fair.

I can finally play the fun and easier missions like Blow Out 3 and make over $10,000. Back then it gave you a shxtty payout of less than $2000 for such a fun and easy mission.

 

Much better than grinding Rooftop Rumble. People just need to play the game normal and they'll earn a good pile of cash compared to 1.15.

 

And yes, I am disappointed about the lack of dlc and clothing especially for women. No new women clothes for us. But as I mentioned, people are forgetting the main point of this update was to bug fix.

Trust me, I tried it with the 2 car garage trick and it spawns you in front of your door.

 

If you see anymore god modders then it's eiher a modder or a new exploit. But I haven't run into any god modders yet.

 

Also, I haven't freezed at all. I'm on PS3 and use the digital version. I only freezed 2 times but that's when 1.16 got launched in that peak hour.

 

Other than that, I been playing the entire afternoon and evening and didnt freeze again.

 

It's not that bad compared to the 1.13 freezing.

The Flight School was pretty fun, and I like the Miljet and Classic Coquette.

 

I am appreciative of the ability to turn off homing missles, and the fact my damn hat stays on when I start missions... So it's alright, but totally could have been better.
