Yeahp, I have had that happen, the worse thing I have had is when I stole a car, then later a NPC tried to steal it from me while I was in the store, but I ran and pulled him out, THEN I GOT A DAMMED BOUNTY, from the thief? huh? wtf? lol

►Gold and Silver Chains have NOW lost the names they were given with 1.16.

◆Earlier this Update the Gold and Silver Chains had been renamed to Covgari Gold Chain and Gaulle Silver Chain but that is NO LONGER the case, although it is still stated in the description.

►Neither Cop Siren Glitch has been PATCHED
◆Not the "City Wide Siren" Glitch- where you could here the police siren everywhere in the entire city.
◆Nor the "Lights Only"(for you only) Glitch- where you quickly pressed "R3/RS" 2 or 3 time and the siren would go off but the lights would be on.
►The Loss of your "Hat","Helmet",or"Mask" after completing a mission inside of a Vehicle has NOT been PATCHED.
◆But this can be remedied if you quickly switch sessions, before it saves your "Accessory" options.
►Entering LSC still removes your ability to trigger any Remote(Sticky) Bombs already laid/placed, ANYWHERE, before you entered it;
◆This occurs whether you purchase/repair anything or not.

I appreciate it, I am always needing someone to help me with these glitches on PS3, so this is a great relief to have a bit of help. Thank You, I will take care of it when I get off work, have you posted this on the "Exploits/Glitches" Thread? if not I will, in a bit, then when I get home I'll fix it.

I know this in the online section but I was playing as Franklin and when I went to put on a casual jacket, I cancelled out and got put into the outfits menu. Also, when selecting a hat, after you pick forward or backward, cancelling out before or after you pick a hat, you get kicked into the casual jacket menu.

This has been mentioned before, for Micheal, you can get into the Earrings and Hats sections for Micheal but he has none so it doesn't do any good. But IDK how to make this reliable since it doesn't result in the some thing everytime. Good Find though, now we know it isn't restricted to Micheal. Not many players spending too much time in Story Mode these days, so we aren't finding out much these days.

 

Even though this is in the "Online Section" I DO catalog "ALL information that has been changed, removed, added, found, or created since the [last] update" whether it be in Online, Story Mode, Social Club, or iFruit. Being that their is NO Social Club or iFruit Section, this would be the only sections to post those anyway.

Because you can get it directly from R* cloud .

What you need is :

1- LibertyV

2- XSC Tool ( XBLToothpik )

Open bg.rpf with LibertyV then extract "valentinerpreward2.xsc" and open it with XSCTool .

Very interesting, can all scripts/files the game downloads directly from the cloud be accessed as easy as this? How do you find them? (How do you know what files the game uses?) And how do you know when they get updated?

A couple of things about your lowering vehicles guide. It makes more sense to shoot between the wheel centre and tyre (below) as shooting the centre especially on rear drivers wheel causes more damage which can lead to engine "rattle" or cause vehicles like Sultan, Peyote etc. to explode. So basically 3/4 of the way down wheel or half way between centre and tyre.

 

Also motorbikes cannot be lowered using this technique as you claim in guide. I don't believe bikes can be lowered in GTAV at all.

 

It's also worth noting the client based nature of the "glitch". If you attempt to lower cars near other players it will tend to burst the tyre even if you shoot the wheel. Bullet holes are also generally visible to others down the flanks of vehicle but not to you. This may fade after some time. If you lower a car and then let a friend stand next to it, go back inside your garage or apartment and then come back out you too will see the bullet holes.

Useful or not, but a comment on the "never ending sirens" online.

 

Short backstory:

 

Before the inclusion of Mental State, the wife & I would rampage on the police online in private servers for hours. Five Star wanted levels "paid" RP and made the Platinum award closer that way. Anyway, after several hours of sirens or until we both died from LSPD, there'd be endless sirens throughout the city. I assume everyone that cares to read this knows that's true?

 

Anyway, unless you swap servers, they would be endless, as stated and THAT gets annoying. So, one session she & I happened upon one of the armored police vans... You know the ones. With bullet proof louvers on the windows. The one that is fun to use til the non-bulletproof tires are popped!

 

But they're used for road blocks and they ALWAYS stick around after the wanted stars are cleared. Believe it or not, R* actually made it so sound carries from the location it orignates from? Translation:

 

You CAN actually search, via sound, for where the sirens are coming from. Meaning, say you face north and the siren is heard from you systems right speakers, the armored police can will be East of you. And, vice versa. Basically it's possible to search via sound of the siren & find the LCPD van that was left unattended, with siren going and either,

 

A. Shut sirens off. Or B. Steal the van, go to gangland area and terrorize! And not get shot to death. Or, C. Use it for another police killing rampage!?

Be really cool if it was true! But unfortunately I don't think you can own anymore than 1 actual property? I think maybe if you try to buy 1 2-car house in Paleto for instance, and one in Rockford, when you try to buy the Rockford (2nd house) it'll wanna replace the Paleto house?

 

Try it and see...? I happen to love my 10-car Apartment & 10-car garage, but if you pull that off, I'd move!
