Did they increase the price of the gang peyote? Just stole a Families convertible Peyote, and it fetched $12,940 at LSC, making it even more valuable than the gang Tornado convertible.

Hey, i'm new on this website. 1.16 have changed my whole gameplay. When i start the game, loading story mode is taking ages and "online" is not an option. I'm on ps3 by the way.

Is my game ruined or can this be fixed? I've also tried deleting 1.16 but no difference occured.

Best regards.

You could try starting the console on safe mode and select "rebuild databse" and then "restore file system", you will lose playlist but other information will remain the same, I have done it in the past and is a good way to fix some load times (GTA and others games) or disk errors

Someone mugged me for $8400 last night. So that was awesome. Love that change!!

Holy Sh!t, you did have that cash on you right? I didn't come out of your Bank, did it?

Not sure if this had been mentioned yet, your threads become ever more detailed Seawall :^:

Free aim matchmaking has been fixed, for me anyway. Been playing solidly for a week after a bit of a break.

I can now go to invite only and use the "On Call" feature for missions with a max wait of 2 mins and much needed variety now payouts have been balanced.

I always spawn back into invite only as well which is a bonus!

As per patch notes, the amount the mugger takes is related to level. Not sure where the thresholds are but 10K appears to be max take.

I approve, people now get REALLY arsey when you mug them :)

R* recently announced 16 new jobs have been made available with this announcement - http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52302/new-gta-online-flight-school-jobs-now-available-to-play-earn

From that page I count 9 jobs, plus there are a new versus mission additions (I think 4 of them) which brings the total to 13. Does anyone have a full list of the new stuff for me?

Effin' Lazers is so much fun. Nothing like getting paid handsomely to shoot planes down with a fighter jet. ;)

The fun part of Effin Lasers is playing with randoms and watching them land. Jesus H Christ. Wish it had included a convoy to attack though, nice bit of strafing.

I have now finished the Bicycle and Save editor section,

over at "http://gtaforums.com/topic/735983-pimped-out-cars-that-spawn-in-onlinewith-lsc-mods/"

it now covers all 15 Gang cars, The 5 Unaffiliated Pimped Out Vehicles, the Mariachi Tornado, and an Assortment of Painted/Colored Bicycles(and fenderless Scorchers) that ALL spawn in Online. Along with the how, when, why, and where of obtaining them.

I have requested a name change for this thread, so that people who haven't visited yet would know that there is bicycle information here, I have asked for it to be changed to:

"Pimped Out Cars & Painted Bikes That Spawn in Online"

(Currently "Pimped Out Cars That Spawn in Online(with LSC Mods)")

Played 1.16 for the first time two days ago - and for me it has changed one big thing: Apparently, I don't get charged for destroying PVs no matter which method I use. I love flying around in the Buzzard and consider myself quite good at predicting where to shoot to hit a moving car/player, and I don't get charged for blowing up PVs with the Buzzard rockets, nothing new there. But I was chased in a car by a player in a Dinka Jester (so I KNOW it was a PV) at the airport runways, and thought that the easiest way to get rid of him would be to sticky bomb him, and then I would just have to pay the insurance fee. But I didn't get charged! The "news ticker" above the map was quite dealyed, e.g. a bounty claim wasn't announced until about 40 seconds AFTER i actually killed the player. But I never got any ticker about the "Bad Sport - You destroyed blabla", and my money DID NOT decrease, neither cash or banked! I tried it more times, I think 3-4 PVs destroyed using "player weapons" (ie. assault shotgun/sticky - NOT by using the Buzzard), and I didn't get charged one single time.

Can anyone else confirm this? I'm on PS3.

I'm on PS3 as well. You only get charged money if the personal vehicle has no occupants inside it. So if someone is driving it and you destroy it you don't have to pay insurance and don't get a bad sport warning. I think it was in the Rockstar Patch Notes.

Wow - hadn't noticed that at all. Do we know the reason for this (not being charged when destroying an occupied PV)? Who pays the bill then? The owner of the destroyed PV or "the game" (ie. noone is charged)?

Yep, same on Xbox, no charge for blowing up PVs as long as the owner is in the car. Rock* may have done that to address people backing up to other players on foot in supercars, making then choose between dying or paying the insurance claim. I paid for many, many PVs lol

No it wasn't in the patch notes, I posted them, it isn't there, BUT I can CONFIRM this. Thank you for clearing it up. I had noticed that people were getting charged for destroying my parked(empty) car, but I was not getting charged for destroying their cars when they were chasing me. So after reading this I decided to test it to confirm it, and yes it is true.

A friend and myself tested it, I first blew him up inside of his rebel and nothing, then I had him retrieve his rebel and exit it then I blew it up again and I got charged (like $300), and we switched it around he blew me up in my glendale and nada, but iwhen he blew my glendale up withput me near it, it cost him $2500, and it told me he destroyed it and had to pay $2500, so LightningLord411is 100% correct here.

Also, yes, I did have to pay to recover my Glendale when I was killed inside of it. BUT it seems sometimes as with all R* crap, there are bugs, and you will get charged or not charged inappropriately. These are not game changes, these are the same ol' bugs that have always been there you are just experiencing them for the first time yourself.

actual_1403001015.gif "Marston's Ranch" by TheMckeever (PS3)

With the haze of New Austin far off in the distance, this rural retreat that’s reminiscent of Beecher's Hope is a great setting for a well-pitched Deathmatch. Pistols are the order of the day but, if you look hard enough, you may very well find a Sawn-Off or a Grenade to mix things up. Unless the Wright Brothers took an undocumented trip cross country, we're not sure if the Duster is completely on-theme... but we'll let that slide.

actual_1403001015.gif "Red Dead Redemption" by LordSando (Xbox 360)

As long as you’re willing to overlook the occasional shipping container (think of them as abandoned railway cars), you could easily slip back in time and be convinced you've been transported to the Old West in this Deathmatch set around the dusty confines of the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness. There's a back-to-basics feel to the restrained placement of Pistols, Sawn-Offs and Molotovs here and the varied elevation of the setting, paired with the generous cover, make for a well-balanced and tactical Deathmatch. Plus the opening standoff, with each team starting out facing each other, nicely approximates Red Dead's last-man-standing style Duels.

actual_1403000828.gif "Red Dead Race" by Zidane (PS3)

These steeds might not eat straw but this Sanchez Point-to-Point Race across the Grand Senora Desert, compliments of a long time member of the GTAGaming gang (and a Commissioner in the GTAGaming Crew), takes us back to playing Red Dead's Grand Prix. It's all here - weaving through cacti, cutting through brush and speeding along the rail track - albeit with a different kind of horsepower involved.

actual_1403000864.gif "Tesoro Azul" by JaseTheChase (Xbox 360)

"Do you long for the days when Deadeye was king and the only thing between you and death was the speed of your draw with a Double-Action Revolver?" reads the description for this GTA Online take on Red Dead multiplayer mode "Hold Your Own", which has racked up over 600 plays at the time of this writing. JaseTheChase has used shipping containers and other Props to create a faithful replica of Tesoru Azul, one of the hideout locations in Nuevo Paraiso. The aim here is simple: grab the opposing team's bag and take it back to your base. Weapons are locked to Pistols but you can also find some Molotovs scattered around for fiery fun.

actual_1403001015.gif "Red Dead" by ElusiveBlk202 (PS3)

Another Deathmatch commencing with a close proximity Red Dead-style duel, but this time starting ammo is restricted so you really need to make every shot in the chamber count. From there it all goes down in an enclosed space surrounded by train carriages and removed from the modern trappings of civilization. Rocks are your cover and bushes your hiding spots, with a raised area in the center providing some great coming together moments.

actual_1403001015.gif "RED DEAD" by ScarfacexD16 (Xbox 360)

This Team Deathmatch takes place at the old sawmill and surrounding valleys located at the foot of Mount Chiliad and Mount Gordo. It features a good range of cover and elevation for a back-to-basics, Pistols-only shootout. Just beware of taking cover close to the gas tank at the back of the house. There's something a bit more combustible than manure inside...

actual_1403000864.gif "GRAB THE BAG" by BigSo786 (PS3)

Grab the Bag is one of Red Dead's best-loved multiplayer modes and this GTA Online version by BigSo786 is a fitting tribute. The central bags, protected at the beginning by potent Actors, and the small playing area make for an intense start as all four teams converge. Once things spread out, varied elevation and a good spread of weapon pickups offer scope to mix up your tactical approach.

actual_1403001015.gif "Tall Trees" by adeadzombiebones (Xbox 360)

The mountainous and wooded Tall Trees area of West Elizabeth is a popular hunting ground in Red Dead and this GTA Online Job, set in Raton Canyon, substitutes Pistols and Shotgun skirmishes for skinning bearhides. Expect many tense shootouts as players make the most of the ample cover provided by the forest.

R☆ Game Tips: Earning Your Wings at San Andreas Flight School:

❈ Due to the content in the "Tips" I have placed them under the spoiler tags, to avoid upsetting the easily upset.smileys-cowboy-627296.gif

Outside Loop
Any pilot worth their salt should be able to complete an outside loop - the challenge here is completing two inside the time limit. Push forward on the left stick at the exact moment you are instructed to, to ensure you beat the timer, and also make certain you fully complete each loop for it to register.

Engine Failure
Don't worry about time here - the key to earning a gold medal is safely landing your ailing Miljet as close to the marker as you can. On approach, use the tail of the plane as a marker and line it up against the near end of the runway. When you're about 1000m away, level out and prepare your landing gear. You should be aiming to touch down just before the halfway point of the runway in order to cruise gently up to the marker and come to rest inside it. Don’t worry if you touch down late or find yourself with too much speed, as you can still apply the brakes if you need to.

Shooting Range
Your priority in this helicopter shooting range is to keep your Buzzard stable. If you're wobbling all over the place then your bullets and rockets are going to do the same. Use the shoulder buttons on your controller and get into position using up/down and rotational movements - using the left stick to move forwards and back too much will make aiming more difficult. Use Machine Gun fire for single, open targets or rows of targets; and Rockets for targets in tight clusters or behind cover. Some players might find it easier to switch to the gun camera using the Select/Back button.

City Landing
Landing a Titan in the middle of the city is hard enough without a full-blown storm and busted engine to deal with. Going through the initial checkpoints, your priority should be to keep the plane as stable as you can and get lined up for the approach. As the Instructor will soon inform you, you're going to be landing on the stretch of beach just past Pleasure Pier. Get as low over the Ferris Whale as you dare and then come down onto the beach, aiming to land just past the wooden barrier (but definitely not before, if you value not being on fire), and taxi onto the target.

Chase Parachute
Plummeting towards the ground without a parachute is either plucky or forgetful. Luckily on this occasion you do have a 'chute - but the bad news is it's not connected to your body. As soon as you leave the plane accelerate downwards to catch up with the Parachute Bag. Don't rush - you're not against the clock (although the rapidly approaching ground does assert its own natural deadline). If you sail past the bag then just slow down and wait for it to catch you up. Once it's strapped to your back line up the target and ensure you end up standing dead-center. Be aware that if you approach with too much speed, you may end up stumbling!

Moving Landing
What’s harder than landing a chopper on the back of a moving truck? How about doing it in 19 seconds? The trick here is to fly straight over to where the bridge starts and get yourself pointed in the right direction, facing down the bridge. Make sure you’re hovering just above the height of the truck, then drop down gracefully as it passes beneath you.

Formation Flight
Keeping straight and listening to instructions is the way to gold in this team formation flight with Western Besras. Use your rudders (L1 and R1 / LB and RB) wherever possible to avoid getting out of shape or overcorrecting. When the checkpoint turns green, you’ll know you’re in formation. For the more difficult moves, like the inside loop, watch the other planes as opposed to the checkpoint and move at the same time as they do. And don't make the rookie error of leaving your landing gear down - it will slow you to the point that you won't be able to keep up.

Ground Level
To get a gold medal here you have to fly low - so low you might feel the spray from the Zancudo on your undercarriage. It's not going to be enough to just go through each checkpoint if you're going for gold - you'll need to pass through the lower half of each checkpoint, and you're aiming for an overall average height of less than 1m. Take a few tries to learn the route and figure out which checkpoints you find particularly tricky, so that you can prepare. If you mess up early on you may want to restart as it can throw off you score for the rest of the mission. Don't be afraid to go sideways to make some of the tighter turns - the Besra is an agile aircraft well-suited to such flagrant flat-hatting - and you'll find it easier if you're factoring in the angle you need to pass each checkpoint at to make the next one easier. And don't worry about speed - lay off the gas and put your landing gear down: it will reduce your speed and offer some protection if you kiss the dirt.

Collect Flags
Gold won't come on reflexes alone here - you're going to need to use your thinking cap and plan out the best route through all of the flags in the quickest time. First off, head for the ones to the west of the city since they're easy to grab in sequence. Then, head to the city and collect the flags around skyscrapers in height order, so that you don't miss any. When you need to negotiate buildings, drop your landing gear since this will lower your speed and increase maneuverability. Speed is not as important as you'd think, so go easy on the afterburner and glide to where you need to be. And finally, don't be afraid to fail - trial and error will help cement the best route in your mind. Check out the map below to see our preferred route, in numerical order:

Follow Leader
The final test - follow J.T. Boyd around a course designed to soil even the most heavily worn G-suits. Focus on each upcoming checkpoint, rather than following his lead, and memorize the color coding of checkpoints: gold = normal; blue = inverted; and green = knife flying. When knife flying, use your rudders to maintain your height and make the most of the increased maneuverability to line up the next checkpoint.
