has rockstar games changed?

This is partially about the pest that is gta 5 youtubers so if it really isn't ok please lock, but as you can see rockstar games seem to be protecting these youtubers, as you know the ngclan made a video on "icrazyteddy" and rockstar games themselves according too him contacted him and threatened him to remove it whithin 48 hours, or else legal action would be taken against him, first off that video was not breaking any copyright law it was under fair use he was breaking no rules what so ever rockstar games have no right to say this and they have absolutely positively nothing at all to do with it, they also had people like domislive stream for them knowing damn well he was back then glitching and showing people money glitches, so i personally think rockstar games are with these youtubers because it's advertisement for their game, why they turn a blind eye too money glitching i don't know all i know is they don't seem to care.

 

This dissapoints me alot as i used to respect them dearly, i still do as they never asked me to take down my videos about these people but i still am suprised, they put gtaonline ahead of everything else ash said it himself aswell they only care about online they left their veteran supporters like gtagaming.com, they no longer care about their long time partners and supporters, they have abondoned the singleplayer platform in favor of gtaonline.

 

I still respect rockstar games dearly for everything they do, they are my favorite developer they helped me alot they were kind too me supportive and helpful, i was sent stickers for nothing several times just for being a fan and for what i did on youtube, i still respect them alot but it feels too me like the people who used to handle rockstar games before gta 5 are gone, and new people has replaced them they changed alot.

Sadly, Rockstar seems to be benefitting from GTA5 youtubers. They're really getting a lot of publicity through these channels. Because of that, they can attract a higher revenue.

For some reason, I don't think Rockstar planned for this to happen. But as a tactic, it is keeping their business model alive. Though, at the expense of the game's solidarity.

Kinda like the chaos in IV but with profit. Much more profit. It's just how it goes in this day and age..

Having that barrier that we had with GTA IV was cool to me but to have R* talk to us so much via comments and all these release DLC's is just too much. i go to know someone in the support section aswell he became a friend i had a record on longest alive ticket being nearly 2 years old

 

he sent me games he sent me the soundtrack for red dead redemption he told me my videos were passed around employees and that they loved them i felt a real connection too them

he told me and gtaforums and he even mentiond it in his video that they did that i have no proof neither does he as the email has been deleted so i am not saying it's true but it is a friend and i don't think he has a reason to lie about that

no one over the age of 12 gives 2 sh*ts what some retarted youtuber posts or says about this game or anything else. ive watched a few to find out how to do a few things or find certain cars and by far the vast majority of them are made by complete retards that dont know what they are talking about. finding one that fully and accurately explains how, what, when something happens is rare. sometimes they will contain useful info about locations of cars but the kid making it usually never knows that no car is rare and they always spawn in the same place same time in invite only sessions if you sit still or drive slow. all the driving a specific car and switching sessions bullsh*t is not necessary. getting 4 players with the same car makes them spawn anytime anywhere and public sessions are too unpredictable with too many people doing who knows what and thats why some cars seem like they never spawn there and in fact you will instantly notice how many more total cars and pedestrian npcs spawn and in a much greater variety in a invite only session if you sit still vs any public session youve ever been in.

No he's was a big fan because he used to be able to make money playing people's mods then sending an email to Kotaku to get them to feature his video. Today, it's not as lucrative for him because of all the competition.

if they cared about swearing they would block the entire word like every forum that cares about swearing does instead of just one letter. If they lock threads because they care about swearing and are to dumb to block the whole word which is not difficult when they already have the detection ability and block one letter then they are f*cking morons and I have no sympathy for dumb people who cant figure out obvious easy things that waste moderators time having to do things like that which can easily be automatic requiring no human input at all after initial setup of feature which already mostly exists, lol

I've been messing with Rockstar since the beginning. Still have my pager from them lying around somewhere. Was the biggest fan of Thrasher skate and destroy.

 

Rockstar are still quite creative with what they come up with. There haven't been many if more than 3 rockstar games I HATED. So they are still my go to for the games that will keep me entertained.

 

Surprised I waited until this year to finally play RDR, and last year I finally got into MP3. As far as the quality of games nothing has changed in the realm of fun factor for me, and that is MOST important. To me at least.

I still enjoy what they make. Of course R* has changed. It's grown and it's evolved to be more immersive than the last title. I think you're missing the part here. R* is only at fault to a certain degree IMO. In creativity they excel. In marketing they excel. In implementation, they've definitely faltered. You have to look no further than your gaming peers as well. People suck. And people that suck will always attempt to ruin something for everyone else.

Correct. They don't even release a game Every year. Look at some other companies that push out their flag ship titles once a year...

 

SQUARE, AND EA, in my life time aren't even close to the same companies they used to be when I was a wee lad. Same with Activison.

mostly its that they are working on the ps4 version and the ps3 version isnt really fixable cause of the severe hardware limitations so they arent wasting much time even trying to do so and it will be phased out once the ps4 version is released. They are only fixing money glitch related bugs which they do pretty fast, but not really doing anything about the godmode invincibility or other cheating that doesnt have anything to do with the economy and thats because they are allowing you to transfer your account to the new system but they dont want to let everyone accumulate massive amounts of money to transfer cause when everyone has tons of money they dont play the game correctly the way rockstar intended using free mode as a constant deathmatch losing money every time you die and that creates many problems for the people not cheating who dont wanna constantly be killed and lose money having to deal with morons shooting 1000 rockets at them constantly and would rather be doing the PVP combat in deathmatches making money like rockstar intended and not getting killed by cops 10X more often then they do by players like what happens in free modes.
