OP, put as many points into Sleep, Friends & Family, Legal Work and Sports, and you won't look entirely like a Splicer. Also just hitting "Random" a lot until you get the character you like works for some. I can't remember what the right parents/grandparents are, but you can just fiddle with that until you're satisfied.

 

For a female character, makeup makes a huge difference, and with a male the hair matters. Here's hoping you actually wanted to "Know how" and not just have a pic of my character.

As for my female, she looks... meh. I don't care as she wears a mask for her superhero look anyways.

My girl is a bit cute, but the all have that heinous puppet mouth going on, as well the saggy labial folds, which makes them look old and cranky.

 

I'll upload my character pic later, but I use grandmother 15, then the rest of the heritages as grandpa/dad/mum 1. I then put all the resemblance sliders to the very left. I use natural makeup then, as it gives the characters nice thick, dark brows, little bit of eye makeup and a nude lip.

 

 

 

NOTE: This is for a medium tan, caucasion looking girl. Change the grandmother 15 to make the tan deeper or lighter.

hmm, i'm just going off memory as I'm not at home atm, but its the very top female that's 15. But I could be getting my number completely wrong. Eitherway, if all the other presets are set to 1, and resemblance sliders are all to the left, you just change the top female heritage to whatever face you think looks best.

 

 

None of the girls look attractive, you can just make the least sh*ttiest looking one. I hope the character creation is far better in the next gen.

 

 

The fem character bodies look weird to me as well. They look too flabby and untoned... My main issue is that the female pants/skirts/shorts/bottoms are all high waisted. It's fine as I like high waisted bottoms, except the stomach bit dips down a LOT (kinda like a 90s swimsuit model) which makes them look like they have pot bellies. WHY MUST I BE SO CRITICAL. Once you notice that pot belly tho, it's never not recognisable. All you can do is put frumpy shirts over it...

Only focus on the Grandparents of the parent the same gender of your character. And set the slider all the way to that parent

 

Grandparent 1 I'm pretty sure defines the whole facial structure of your character and grandparent 2 will determine the nose, eyes and lips of your character. Don't worry if they have a Clown mouth, though, the default emotion is set as happy, which gives you a big cheesy grin.

 

I did that and I have a pretty good character

okiesss i did mom's mother grandma5, mom's father grandpa 5, all sliders to left and dad's mother and father at 1. then i did asleep, sports and family all the way with wavy bob black hair and purple passion make up X'D...she is kind of pretty when i can put a picture i will!!!
