There are a few people that make decent looking female characters. Majority still look like trannies unfortunately. Like Matthew442 said, patience. Mess around with the character editor a bit.

Eh, my main character turned out alright - meant to look like me (not that I'm exactly good-looking, mind!), only better-groomed. Satisfied with the result:

Likewise, my female character turned out ok - mainly through hitting 'random' a few times, then tweaking the sliders a bit:

If you have access to the Collector's Edition of GTA V, when creating your online character, select Misty (bonus content with the CE) as your mother, and move the Mom's Resemblance slider all the way to the left (to look more like mom). It almost doesn't matter who you select as dad (I chose Niko).

 

Seriously, best looking online character regardless of gender.

OP, put as many points into Sleep, Friends & Family, Legal Work and Sports, and you won't look entirely like a Splicer. Also just hitting "Random" a lot until you get the character you like works for some. I can't remember what the right parents/grandparents are, but you can just fiddle with that until you're satisfied.

 

For a female character, makeup makes a huge difference, and with a male the hair matters. Here's hoping you actually wanted to "Know how" and not just have a pic of my character.

Actually just max Sleep, Family and Friends, And Sports, Legal work makes skin go bad.
