PS4,XBOX Oneand PC release may be delayed until 2015

I don't like how they're so quiet when it comes to releasing their game infos. Still waiting on the PS4/XONE and PC release date R*, any time now...

Wouldn't rule it out as Take Two's Q4 fiscal year extends until March 2015.

I wouldnt rule it out either, they were working on it for ps3 5 1/2 years before it was released after a 6 month delay and its been out now for almost a year and its still a sh*tty buggy beta quality game even now with many bugs that existed on launch still not fixed and people find and exploit new ones faster than they are fixing them. Hell, at the rate theyve fixed things/introduced new content for the ps3 version i wouldnt rule out 2016 even unless they release a complete bug infested beta version for the ps4/pc like they did for the ps3, no sh*t.

I know more goes into making a game, but the game has been "tested" on the PS3/Xbox360. Wouldn't it just be a graphical upgrade? Or are we in for a few surprises?

Take Two did say they wanted us to be blown away, doubt that would happen with just a graphical update, or just plain old marketing bs

They havent fixed the ps3 version yet, mostly ignoring anything not having to do with glitching money that isnt too gamebreaking but lately they dont even fix the gamebreaking stuff at all. They are hardly adding any substantial content in these updates like they sounded like they would be doing in their press releases, only giving us a few guns that are virtually the same as what we already have, a few cars/clothes and almost no good stuff like new contact missions or heists. Its easy and fast to create the many new parachute, racing, and deathmatch jobs they gave us and they are all pretty well the same thing and boring as f*ck anyway, no one wants new parachute jobs or air races. and im pretty sure its cause they are working on the ps4 version as the priority, and they clearly stated in their press release that they are going to have exclusive content for that version. they will give you credit to trade in the ps3 version as well so im pretty well betting they wont be adding much to or supporting the ps3 version after the ps4 one drops and thats perfectly fine with me, Id much prefer this game on the PC where it can expand and grow to or even beyond its expected potential with the available 10000x amount of processing power, memory and better customizable controls that the PC has compared to PS3. the ps3 is simple to old/slow and outdated and cannot even handle this game adequately in single player if youre going full speed. Add a few more players and it degrades in quality very fast. This open world sandbox type game really kinda sucks when the world resets/disappears when you turn around or simply doesnt even spawn half of it in the first place. Playing around with the tons of available vehicles and observing the massive amounts of funny/dumb stuff the NPCs say/do and doing things like trying to get a truck with a flatbed trailer and load a car or two or helicopter or whatever on it to haul around or any of the infinite possible things you can do with such an environment like blowing things up and seeing the wreckage persist for longer than just disappearing when you turn around is half the fun of this type game.

 

Go clear your game cache and load an invite only session and sit in any intersection without moving or doing anything for about 5 minutes or even walk slowly around the streets stopping now and then and observe how much more traffic and npcs spawn compared to what you see in public sessions and then notice how much of it disappears and doesnt spawn when you are just driving around normally in that invite only session and then how much more even still goes away when you go faster. This version is/was basically just a beta test for the ps4 version which hopefully has all the broken sh*t fixed before its released with a vastly improved matchmaking system and more user friendly systems in place for accessing useful features more quickly/easily.

People don't understand that Rockstar is actually a private company owned by a public one, yet what Rockstar releases as information and when is entirely up to them or their investors, not the public.
